Das Backhaus mit traditioneller Einrichtung, Holzofen, Schlafboden und ganz zeitvergessener Behaglichkeit liegt separat auf dem Grundstück. Neben dem Wohnhaus (40m entf.)befindet sich das moderne Badehaus zur ausschließlichen Nutzung unserer Gäste. In unserem Haus wird viel gelesen, philosophiert, guter Wein getrunken und sich um das Wesentliche im Leben gekümmert, Reduktion pur! Abenteuer statt Luxus.

Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

Every half hour to Melsungen (approx. 4 minutes) or Kassel (about 25 minutes). The historic old town of Melsungen offers shopping opportunities and has good restaurants.

Stay overnight on the adventure farm directly on the R1 bike path. On our small, cozy farm you will find the ideal place to escape the ordinary. In our newly built pods, you will experience a unique sleep and relaxation experience. Let your mind wander and enjoy nature in the beautiful Fulda Valley. In the cozy cottage, there is plenty of space for breakfast or just to linger. In winter, the Kota becomes a unique experience by the open fireplace.

The newly renovated 125 m² apartment not only impresses with its unique location directly on the Fulda in the North Hessian mountains. In the 400-year-old mill, this apartment was furnished with a lot of love. It has a modern open kitchen with adjoining living area, where a fireplace provides a pleasant atmosphere. The pretty apartment with garden is central yet quiet. Shopping and public transport are just around the corner. The Karlsaue, city center and the museum district are within walking distance. The apartment is 45 square meters, it has its own entrance with its own terrace and a private sauna. Parking is sufficiently available and free of charge in front of the house on the public street. Bicycles can be parked safely and covered in the garden.

The Mediterranean-style house "Bella Vista" is located on a sunny viewing platform above the lake, in the middle of idyllic nature, directly on the jungle path and offers a fantastic view far over the lake, the castle of Waldeck and the mountain ranges of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The apartment "TOSCANA" is the "crown jewel" of the three apartments located in the house, which is elegantly and nobly furnished.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

This approx. 37 sqm cozy apartment has been renovated with a lot of love and a lot of natural building materials, so that the charm that such an old house can radiate was not lost. It offers guests a very cozy ambiance in an idyllic garden paradise. Free parking is available right in front of the house. Bikes can also be rented. Various shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity and are within walking distance.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
