To highlight are the 2 terraces in south & west direction with private garden & beautiful view into the distance and absolute tranquility (no artificial light).

Schwalbennest Ravensburg (Swallows Nest Ravensburg)

Our vacation home is located on the uppermost edge of the slope above the Schussental with views over the cityscape of Ravensburg and the vineyard. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The special flair of this cottage has been maintained.

You can enjoy the beautiful nature on bike tours, hikes and excursions by car to the surrounding area. Many excursion destinations can be reached in a short time by car. Our renovated apartment is lovingly furnished and covers approximately 65 square metres. It is on the 1st floor of our house, in a quiet residential area. It has 2 bedrooms with double beds (1x190/200; 1x140/200), living-dining area, kitchen (fully equipped), shower, toilet, balcony, satellite TV, music system, Wi-Fi, cot and high chair. Parking is nearby. PLEASE NOTE: If two guests occupy both bedrooms, we charge an additional surcharge of €12 per night.

Enjoy relaxing days on the Höri Peninsula in a pleasant atmosphere. The small cottage is located in a quiet street, about 300 meters from Lake Constance & Strandbad. The sunny garden is fully fenced & is therefore also suitable for families with small children. Many beautiful excursion destinations such as Stein am Rhein, the island of Werd, the Rheinfall Schaffhausen or the Allensbach wildlife and amusement park are nearby. Electric cars are not allowed!

The listed house from 1730 is located at the foot of the holy mountain of Upper Swabia – the Bussen – and directly on the hiking trail, not far from the Danube Cycle Path on the edge of the Swabian Alps. During the careful restoration using ecological and sustainable materials, many details such as sloping floors, partially low room heights and a steep staircase were preserved. So you can go back in time and still enjoy the modern comforts of the present.
