This charming cottage exceeded our expectations in every way! The property was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The interior's fresh, well-maintained condition made us feel instantly at home. The highlight was definitely the convenient beach access - perfect for spontaneous walks and sunset views. We particularly appreciated all the special touches throughout the property that showed real attention to detail. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners while they were tending to the yard, and their warm hospitality added an extra special touch to our stay. Their care for the property is evident in every corner. We've already marked this cottage as a favorite for future visits. It's a true gem that delivers everything you could want in a beach getaway. We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

Peaceful cottage on Long Lake. Our family shared quality time on Labor Day weekend. Had a peaceful relaxing time. Had a campfire, played in the water. Loved the screened in porch and deck looking over the lake!

The lake house was perfect! A beautiful snowy winter weekend to relax and chill together and with our dog. The house had dog toys and space for pets that we appreciated. Loved being further away from the hustle and bustle of a city or town!

We had a nice stay here. The cabin is very close to a beach and has a nice view of Lake Michigan. We watched the sunset there one evening. It is also only a short distance to Grand Mere State Park and Silver Beach in St Joseph which I highly recommend. The host was very responsive and friendly. The pictures on the listing are accurate. It is in a nice gated community which felt very safe.

Really enjoyed the cottage for our family of four. The place is walking distance to the beach and a local playground. We enjoyed staying in nature but being able to drive to New Buffalo for restaurants or other things. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!

Phenomenal option for vacation!!! Beautiful home thats 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. Lots of things to do for family, including a pool, small lake swimming, fishing, shuttleboard, pool table, ping pong, kayacking, stand-up paddle board, movie room, basketball court and tennis court!!! I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of things. Oh and coffee shop with snacks too on the ground. The homes are beautiful and well-taken care of. Kids told me they want to come back next summer!!! Indiana Sand Dunes is also just a 15 minute drive to the east end of the national park.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Ben's chalet! The location can't be beat, with 2 small private beaches just steps away, restaurants within a few minute drive and downtown St Joseph only a 15 min drive away. When we arrived the chalet had not been cleaned (miscommunication with his cleaning crew), but I messaged Ben and he promptly had someone come out to clean the property and refunded us our cleaning fee. Also the view from the back deck at sunset was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this chalet!

The "tiny home" fit our needs just fine. The screened porch, campfire and gas grill added a nice evening activities. The shared pool is lovely and we were always in it alone!

Our family loved this home and had a VERY special Thanksgiving weekend here. The house had everything and was even nicer than the GREAT pictures. Beautiful kitchen, lovely view of the water and very nice amenities. Our host, Rhoby, was a great communicator - sharing all relevant details ahead, so we had all we needed! My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

The view is beautiful! The cozy, family feel always works for us. We felt right at home. Plenty of room to be together but also have alone time if you so choose. The singing birds were beautiful, the visiting swans and ducks were fun to watch! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and pier! Its truly a relaxing place. Although we rarely go to the same place each summer, we would visit again. Hosts were accomodating, kind and welcoming! Thank you for sharing your home and giving us a place to make wonderful memories!

We had a great time at Lacey's tent. It's right by the river, and it had all the amenities we needed.

Our second stay here was very nice. The weather wasn’t great, but it didn’t stop my husband and older kids from fishing and boating. Again, we appreciated how many infant-friendly items were available, including a high chair and pack-and-play. Our littlest loved the swing set too! Chris is a great host and was very friendly and accommodating. Great location and comfortable house!

Great lake house for our multi-family gathering. Pontoon rental was perfect for fishing! We caught our limit of bluegill each day. Young and old especially loved the swinging in the great room looking into the lake. Power recliner and couch made watching TV relaxing. Girls loved painting rocks. And our 3 year old grandson was in love with cars and toys to play with.

This is a very comfortable house in a beautiful, peaceful, private location. The views of the lake from the living and dining rooms are stunning. The house has a lot of sweet touches and the hosts have thought in advance of a lot of little things you might need. I highly recommend it.
