Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Our comfortable one bedroom suite has everything you need to relax, and experience the beauty of vancouver island, with the ocean and a forest hike within walking distance. This is a family friendly space with televisions in the bedroom and living room, board games, bluetooth stereo and a dedicated work station. There are numerous wineries close by, noteably cherry point estates two minutes down the road. The suite does not share any of our spaces and includes dedicated laundry.

The area hosts a plethora of bird life from hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, herons, eagles and trumpeter swans to name a few!

We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Newly built 2 bedroom and loft, lakefront cottage located in the west arm of the stunning Shawnigan Lake. Open concept kitchen and living room. Located on a quiet winding road just minutes from downtown Duncan and situated on a 8.5 acre vineyard and winery that feels like you may be in the middle of nowhere. A fully furnished 950 sq/ft suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and very comfortable to accommodate a group of 4 with the added bonus of a pull out to sleep up to 6. Featuring a 400 sq/ft front deck with a BBQ, comfy patio furniture and a large Jacuzzi hot tub right out front of the master bedroom.

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.
