The village-famous “Villa Kunterbunt,” from 1911, once housed the Hörste post office. At that time, the apartment served as a stable for the stagecoach.

This property is located just outside the small village of Wehdem, surrounded by meadows and fields as well as a beautiful forest with old trees - ideal for hiking, biking or just enjoying tranquility. A few meters from the house is a swimming pond, which can be used during the stay, as well as the wood-fired barrel sauna by the pond.

Our Romantic Wooden Lodge has been created with an eye for detail to offer you a warm and cosy atmosphere in a wonderful woodland surrounding. Depending on the season you have the choice to swim, to enjoy the sauna, or just chill sitting by the cosy wood burning stove in the lodge. Hiking trails start directly behind the BLH and a restaurant with a beer garden is 800m behind the BLH.
