Very comfortable, we would definitely stay here again. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, grocery store less than 10 minute walk away. Quiet, pretty neighborhood. Close to Sintra and beaches by Uber.

The property is in a village. Lisbon is 50 minutes away, Sintra is 15 minutes, Cascais is 30 minutes away. Shops are 10 minutes drive. There is a place to park the car. The house itself is wonderful, very beautiful, cozy, clean. The courtyard is yours. There's life essentials. Easy check-in. The host is available, friendly, gave recommendations. Thank you.

We could not be happier with our stay - in fact, in many ways, it was the best part of our trip to Portugal. Mata Pequena is centrally located between Lisbon and Sintra and Mafra. They've taken a set of 300+ year old homes and beautifully restored them - it was like living in our own little Hobbit Hole for a week. The fresh bread (and sometimes added goodies) in the morning was an over-the-top lagniappe, and the hosts were all so friendly and accommodating. We could not recommend this beautiful place more. Scrupulously clean, so much character, and two sweet donkeys ("Zé" and "Maria" 💛) at the end of the lane. We will definitely be back and will tell all our friends about this beautiful property.
