A beautiful five bedroom converted barn in Sud-Charente in France with a separate one bedroom cottage and swimming pool. With five bathrooms, two kitchens, underfloor heating & full wheelchair access throughout the property. The property has an enormous central living room with sofas around the fireplace, leading onto a covered terrace for dining and out onto a stepped garden down to the pool. Cosy for couples and ideal for families, the property has been designed for elegance and accessibility.

We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village. Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. The Gîte de la Vivetrie is an annex of our main house of 70 m2. Located in the heart of the South Charente countryside, 8 km from Barbezieux Saint Hilaire and close to the vineyards. Enjoy the tranquility of the premises in a 3000 m² property that is fully fenced and has no neighbors. From May to September enjoy our sun-exposed pool In addition, don't hesitate to book a relaxing moment directly at the cottage or by the pool with our masseuse.

Set in the heart of the Green Perigord region,this charming traditional stone built house is the perfect spot to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends. It is set in a quiet hamlet yet close to holiday amenities and leisure. (Accrobranche, walks, cycles rides). Saint Aulaye and Aubeterre have stunning river beaches, a lovely lake at Jemaye. There is a little shop less than a mile away in the historic village of Saint Privat des prés.

Ideally located to discover the Périgord. 20 minutes from the historic center of Périgueux and Bourdeilles for its castle, canoe ride on the Vézère 30 minutes from Brantome and its abbey. 10 minutes from the Château de Fayolle, Étang de la Jemaye 30 minutes away. Further away, Le Bugue les Eyzies 1 hour, Sarlat-la-Canéda 1.5 hours
