The accommodation is located in a quiet and pleasant environment, in an alley not accessible to cars, on the banks of the Loire quays and at the foot of the castle. Between Saumur and Chinon, on the road to the Châteaux de la Loire and the "Loire by bike" circuit. NO BIKE GARAGE (but you can attach your bikes to the gate in front of the door). The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

In Montsoreau, one of the "most beautiful villages" of France, amazing views, and small shops within walking distance; located between Saumur and Chinon! Famous castles, abbeyes, exceptional gardens, white, red and bubbly wineries, most of them within 10 to 60 min. The house is perfect for one or two couples, but can welcome 6 guests. Market every week, small grocery store, butcher, bakery, 4 restaurants in the village. Great antique market once a moth on the banks of the Loire.
