This waterfront home is located on Lake Martha, a 60-acre body of water that's great for swimming, boating, and year-round fishing. Enjoy the private dock, a large shaded porch, firepit, BBQ and an expansive lawn rolling down to the lake's edge. Gas-powered motorboats not permitted. 2 kayaks, pedal boats, and standup paddleboards provided.

Located on beautiful south Fidalgo island, you are 7 minutes to Deception Pass bridge, 13 minutes to downtown Anacortes, and 17 minutes to the ferry terminal to the San Juan islands. Curl up with a good book, watch a movie or just relax and enjoy our beautiful view of north Whidbey island and Deception Pass. Our gardens explode in summertime so feel free to wander and pick flowers, fruit or vegetables in season.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. The Granary at Avon Acres - Private Guest Cottage

The Granary is a recently converted 110 year old grain shed (remodeled Summer 2020). It features a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, bedroom loft and beautiful .75 bath. Located on the West side of Mount Vernon, it is minutes from I-5, yet situated on a 40-acres of farmland, next to an original barn and behind the main farmhouse. Good WiFi for work, ramp access and a ground-level hide-a-bed. Large West-facing deck and hot tub to enjoy sunsets.

The house has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a large walk in closet...perfect to put a pack-n-play for our littlest guests!
