We are frequent travellers , have stayed at many cottages in mukteshwar and it’s surrounding regions…but this place ..Casa saara ,of Capt Nitin Anand ji is something else ..this is a beautiful cottage built by captain with perfect location in sitla ,lush green surroundings with 3 side entrance ..lots of trees,lots of sitting places ,full of natural beauty and fresh air everywhere …tasty home food served by cook deepak …beside this captain and Co host surendra are so friendly and responsive that you will love to stay at this place and would carry beautiful memories with you ..if you are a pizza and coffee lover ,than do visit cafe Awara in near by Sitla market,managed by surendra and his wife…would love to visit again and again …thanks a lot nitin ji for your super hospitality.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Dhura, near Almora. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. Mriganka was incredibly responsive, and his staff made us feel completely at home. The food was homely and heartfelt — Chef Jagdish ji cooked delicious meals and happily adapted to all our preferences. Even when our tummies were full, our hearts wanted more! The tree house was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained — a perfect escape into nature. We especially loved the quiet, the greenery, and the sense of space. A special thanks to Mriganka’s wife, who shared lovely stories about the local flora and community — it made our experience even more special. This place offers genuine warmth, comfort, and connection. Highly recommended for anyone looking to recharge in nature with great food and even better people!

Pahadi Nest is the perfect retreat if you're craving peace and nature. The views are stunning, serene mountains that instantly calm your soul. The host, Akshay, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart… The caretakers were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Everything from the setting to the service was thoughtfully done. Can’t wait to be back!

Firstly, thanks to Mihir's place we rediscovered the magic of Kumaon. Mihir's bungalow allows you a few days of dreamy break from an otherwise humdrum life. The bungalow/villa has very a large lawn with multiple places to settle down in and comes with impeccable service. A few specifics: 1) The property caretakers took good care of us 2) The cook rustled up lovely meals 3) There is a very clear and vast view of the Nanda Devi range from the property, weather permitting 4) No problem of water supply - which can happen in the Himalayas 5) Power back up in case of occasional loadshedding Deepak
