You can rent the whole place at a shelter cat cafe. All spaces are available for private hire outside of cafe hours. Cat space is completely separate. Cats are not allowed in the cafe or accommodation. You can interact with cats in the courtyard. You can eat and drink while looking at the cat courtyard from the cafe. You can see the night view of downtown Nagano from the cafe space. You can also stay with your dog. Please bring what you need for your dog. However, pets are not allowed in the courtyard. You can come and go freely in the later space. Breakfast is included in the cafe menu. The terrace was severely deteriorated and was removed in December. Cosplay photography can be done indoors. BBQ can be done in the backyard after the terrace is closed. BBQ set rentals are 1,500 yen. There is a free work corner in the Japanese-style room. You can also see the night view of the city from the cafe.Kiyomizu Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is in front. 1 hour by bus from Nagano station. Take a train to Hosho Onsen. Get off at the Kiyomizu Temple Daimonmae bus stop and walk for 5 minutes. Please note that there are few buses. Near the inn, there are steep hills and narrow streets. When coming by car, a 4WD car or tire chain is required in the winter. The amenities are additive-free and fragrance-free "Shabondama soap" Late check-in is also possible.

This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 m. Newly built in 2022, a simple log house with plenty of wood scent. You can see a lot of beautiful scenery just a 10-minute walk away. Please take a look at Mt. Iinoka from Oza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about 15 minutes by car. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. You can also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomitai Trail, and Mt. Iinago. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, it's about a 15-minute drive to Tengu-no-Yado at Lake Reisenji. Sakuranbo Kan is a private Japanese-style modern guest house in a renovated Taisho-era building that takes advantage of the retro atmosphere.

Sakura Ekan is a private guest house in Sakura Echo, a symbol of Shinshu, at the foot of Zenkoji Temple, a national treasure. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Zenkoji Temple. It is a modern Japanese-style building that has been renovated to take advantage of the retro atmosphere of the Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori, and beyond Zenkoji Temple, there is also Jojakyo Park, where Nagano citizens relax, the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, and the Higashiyama Kaii-kan, so why not take a leisurely stroll.  There are also many cafes, bakeries, Italian, French restaurants, and eateries near the facility, making it convenient to eat out. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

Nagano ex-Kimono house 5min to Zenkoji temple

The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 97years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
