Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nara

The location was great for going over to Mt Yoshino for the cherry blossoms. It was one station away. Fireplace was a great addition to the colder nights.

Spacious, elegantly furnished and very peaceful. We loved the house and its location - right next to the Tōdai-ji temple and the Deer Park. We had a bit of an issue entering the house as the code given to us was incorrect … but was just a little hiccup in our overall stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone coming to Nara. We stayed 3 days and we could have definitely stayed longer!

The kids could run around the rice fields and squares around the house, and the stars were beautiful at night. The rice cooked in the oven, the Goemon bath, which was great. Good old houses are also good accommodations where you can experience Japanese life with peace of mind!

Place is well-kept and cozy. JR station, convenient stores and a big Life department store with supermarket are all within walking distance. Appreciate the smoking area in the balcony which is convenient for fellow smokers, and blankets in the living room to keep warm. Steep stairs but manageable, and nice to have the lights with sensors. Ramen place nearby is nice. Though no issues but cleanliness (e.g. on corners, shelves, washing machine) can be improved. Chun was friendly and approachable. Had an enjoyable stay after all.

This was a beautiful place to stay whilst exploring Osaka. The house is a peaceful refuge after a busy day's exploring. We absolutely loved our time spent here. We also enjoyed the many beautiful Japanese arts and crafts displayed around the property. Our host was friendly, welcoming and responsive to all our communications. Thank you for this very positive experience.

In a homestay in the deep mountains, it is exciting to see the deer by car along the way!The most characteristic is the fireplace in the living room, my family and I enjoyed BBQ/side fireside dinner with a lot of character!More of a massage in the evening and it was relaxing!Since the B&B is in a suburban environment, it's understandable that there are insects, but it's still a bit of a panic when you suddenly see the centipede around!

we had absolutely the best time in Nara under Junko's roof! She's an amazing host, a sweet woman, and indulged my poor japanese while serving us tea upon arrival 🫶 highly recommend, very walkable to downtown area and main Nara deer park

The owner's attentiveness was excellent, and the room and BBQ venue (established) were perfectly stress-free. There is also a supermarket, convenience store, and home center nearby, so you can rest assured even if you forget something. I'd like to ask you again.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. Chie was a friendly and generous host. She taught our children to make sushi, tempora and pizza and even did a tea ceremony for us. The house is immaculate and enormous. It’s set in gardens (with cherry blossom when we visited in April) and surrounded by forest with no neighbours. We found it to be peaceful and exactly what we needed after visiting Tokyo and Kyoto. Chie made us feel completely at ease and we relaxed in the garden and the outdoor covered veranda for most of the day. We also trekked along the footpath to the nearby temple (long sleeves and trousers and sensible shoes required!) where the monks showed us around and from which we were able to buy locally produced sake. Our 2 night stay at this house was one of the highlights of our trip and we are so grateful to Chie for her kindness and friendliness. We will remember this fondly for a long, long time.
