We all really loved the charm and beauty of Driftwood. We knew we wanted the quiet authenticity of the Kalkara neighborhood but transport from there is still easy. This beautifully kept unique classic Maltese building is not only welcoming and cozy but also very efficient with everything provided for cooking, bathrooms, comfortable beds etc. The kids enjoyed their bunk bed accommodation and we grownups appreciated the luxury and style of the main bedroom. We don’t mind negotiating the flights of stairs - typical of a classic Maltese townhouse - but these might be tough on someone who’s mobility is challenged. We all agreed that we would be happy to return to Driftwood next time we’re in Malta👍🏽🥰

Michael is a great host! He explains everything very well before you arrive and he responds very quickly to any of your messages. He even facilitated an earlier check-in for us for free which happens so rarely these days, we really appreciated it. The place is beautiful, it’s located in a traditional Maltese building but the interior is very modern and has all the amenities. Definitely recommend!

If I could give 6 stars I would! GOZO was incredible. Excellent stay, everything was as described. Clean with everything you would need as a family of 5. The house was perfect in every way. I cannot recommend this house and host enough. Our best stay in Malta.

A great stay in Paola! We had a lovely time at this well-equipped and functional house. Everything was clean, comfortable, and as described. The pool is a real plus to relax on a day off or after a day sightseeing. The location in Paola is ideal, the house is close to bus stops, making it easy to get around the island. We also really appreciated the communication with the hosts, who were very responsive, available and warm throughout the stay. We highly recommend this place to discover Malta!

Frank's apartment is spacious and extremely well equipped. There are several outside spaces with plenty of seating.The location is near the ferry terminal and also close to buses which run to Victoria. From there you can get buses to elsewhere on Gozo. Frank is a most helpful host, he both picked us up from the ferry and took us back. As well as a bottle of wine, there was some food keeping warm in the oven when we arrived. Frank also took us to the local supermarket and gave us loads of information and suggestions of things to do. A great place to stay.

A really lovely place to stay right in the centre of MDina. We were met by Joanna who showed us around the house and told us about interesting places to visit close by. During the daytime, the city gets extremely busy with visitors so we enjoyed exploring early morning and in the evening when it was quiet! There is a frequent bus service from MDina gate to Valletta and other places, so it’s very easy to travel around the island. We highly recommend the accommodation and look forward to staying there again in the future .

We had a lovely stay in Rabat! We absolutely loved the house, the bed and shower were fantastic, and the roof terrace is perfect to relax with some drinks. Thanks, Luana and Joe!

Everything was great! The place was exactly as described and even better in person. It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Terrace for all guests on the roof! The host was welcoming and responsive, providing helpful tips, responded to messages so fast. The location was perfect – center of Naxxar, narrow streets with romantic vibes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Malta, and I would love to stay here again. Thanks!

We had a great stay at this house. Four out of five bedrooms had an ensuite, and that was perfect when we were 11 people. The big pool was very nice too. Perfect for the kids and nice for the rest of us to cool off in. Only 5-10 minute walk to city centre Victoria. I can not find anything negative to say. Perfect house. Thank you!

The apartment is located in Floriana in a very quiet and safe residential area. Downtown is within walking distance and the way there is very nice if you walk through the various parks. There is free parking below the apartment, the apartment is accessible by stairs from there. Part of the apartment is in the basement, overall it is unfortunately not particularly bright. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a courtyard with a table and two chairs (accessible through the upper bedroom and adjoining bathroom). In the kitchen there is a not very comfortable couch and a table with three chairs. For two couples, the apartment is rather not suitable, for families with teenagers rather. A plus is definitely the two bathrooms. The beds are comfortable, it is quiet in the house and you are close to Valletta, without the hustle and bustle there. We felt comfortable and can recommend the apartment.

A friend, her adult daughter, and I visited Malta for 4 days, and Joelean's house proved to be the ideal base for our stay. Joelean was the perfect host; she picked us up at the airport and imparted a wealth of information and excellent recommendations as she drove us thru Valletta to the house. She was quick to respond late one evening when we had a small issue with the power going off. The beautifully restored historic house was well furnished, the beds comfortable, and the neighborhood very quiet at night. We enjoyed morning coffee on the small balcony. Easy walk to the bus terminal and the ferry port. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. As other guests have mentioned, the spiral stairs are narrow and initially a bit tricky to navigate. We opted not to sleep in the cellar bedroom, mostly to avoid the additional stairs, but it also seemed a bit musty. We staggered our showers to ensure enough hot water for the 3 of us. All in all, a great stay!

I spent a few great days in Malta and couldn't be more satisfied with my experience! The city is a real gem, with its wonderful landscapes, fascinating history, and lively atmosphere. Every corner offers something unique, from picturesque streets to gorgeous sea views. The place I stayed at was just perfect. It was cozy, clean and well equipped, with everything you need to make my stay comfortable. The location was ideal, allowing me to easily explore the local attractions. A big thank you goes to Pawlu's co-host of Roberto, my guest, who was extremely helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure you had everything I needed and provided great suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to try. Your hospitality has made my experience even more special!

All the previous ratings weren’t kidding. The location in Birgu is ideal for exploring the area. Out of the maelstrom of Valletta but you can see it from the top floor and it’s a 5 minute ferry ride away. The ferry itself is a 2 euro harbour cruise into town. Birgu itself is an atmospheric enclave. As for the apartment, it’s equipped with everything and so clean you could eat off the floor. The only downside is the narrow spiral staircase of 4 stories. Leave something on the ground floor and it’s an excursion to go and retrieve it but that’s all in the description. I wouldn’t bother looking too much further for your charming digs in Malta

It was a privilege to stay in such an amazing location within the Cittadella. The house reflects the history of which it is a part. What accompanies that is the bell ringing every quarter of an hour. One should come prepared. Less abled people should be advised that it is an upward trek to the house and that there are many steps within. The property is ideally sited to visit all parts of the island of Gozo The host communications is very professional with clear instructions

The house has been renovated and furnished by the hosts Joseph and Natalie with a lot of love and dedication. The house is accessed through a wonderfully planted courtyard. When you enter it, you immediately feel transported to another world. There are stylishly furnished interiors with modern bathroom and modern kitchen. The apartment was extremely clean and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is in Qala. You can walk to the beautiful center of Qala in a few minutes, which offers a selection of restaurants, bars and a shop. Joseph also gave us recommendations on what's worth exploring in Gozo. With our rental car we could easily park close to the apartment and were able to reach the beautiful Ramla Bay beach in about 10 minutes. We met Joseph and Natalie, two extremely likeable and committed hosts. It was an absolutely perfect stay.

Derek greeted us, and we had a nice chat before he showed us his unit. He was responsive and quickly fixed the one small issue I encountered. The rooftop terrace is a great place to begin and end your day. Derek has lovingly restored this unit and has every right to be proud. Take a walking tour of Ir-Rabat and Mdina, then come back to air conditioning and the relaxing terrace. I recommend Derek’s oasis.

Lovely stay at Connie’s house. Clean, everything was there, great pool. Location is perfect. You can walk to beaches or drive there. Gozo is amazing! Thank you for everything!

A Wonderful Stay with an Amazing Host! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ortrud's beautiful home, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, Ortrud was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The house itself is gorgeous and located in a central area, providing easy access to fantastic restaurants by the harbor. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor shower—what a treat! The home is well-equipped with all the amenities you could need. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like a wonderful selection of herbal teas in the kitchen and plenty of towels available. Ortrud truly went above and beyond when we misplaced a key; she addressed the situation promptly and ensured we had quick access back to the house. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend staying at Ortrud's place if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed! --

A wonderful period house with its original features carefully preserved. High ceilings and huge rooms make the house both elegant and keep it at a comfortable temperature although there is air con, we did not need to use it. The rear patio area is delightful with a motorised awning for shade which was very effective and most welcome when the sun was overhead. We ate outside every day which was a treat for April compared to the UK. The location is very good with the sea, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Lidl is just up the road so handy for everything - even the heavy stuff like water bottles. Super restaurant just down the road called Lina's which was so good, we went twice. We had a lovely stay - thank you Susanna.
