Holiday rentals with a kayak in Norfolk

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at Adam’s place for our mini-moon! The house is in a great location, super cute and unique, and Frankie the cat is so friendly and sweet! Adam makes sure his guests have plenty of information to feel comfortable in the home and is a great host! Would definitely stay here again, and will likely try to visit again next year for an anniversary trip!

Our family enjoyed our weekend at Big Blue. It was special because it was my wife's birthday and there was plenty of family with us. We really liked how the 2nd and 3rd floor are duplicates of each other. It's like 2 different apartments , but we had access to both. The kids on the 2nd floor and the adults on the 3rd. Very clean open spaces. The host were responsive and proactive. We hope to make the Willoughby Spit area a regular vacation spot, very lovely.

This house is so unique. The view is incredible, and if you love the water - this place is for you. The tide comes up under the house, and when you are sitting on the porch you feel like you are on a boat. It's so lovely. The beach is walkable when the tide goes down just a bit, and it was so peaceful in the offseason. The house is clean and stocked with just about everything you might need. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. Comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, and a bright and airy common space - this house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing get away.

House was exactly as shown. Was convenient for the places we wanted to see. House was clean with plenty of supplies. Winter didn't allow us to explore the water nearby, but it is a close walk. Sabrina was great to work with. We didn't have any problems, but she checked in on us online to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely rebook when we are back in the area.

Matthew’s airbnb was amazing! All the photos are accurate. It is spacious with several bedrooms and bathrooms providing each individual with privacy while promoting everyone to hang out in the living room/dining room/kitchen/bar area! The beds were very comfortable. The temperature was perfect. All the kitchen ware was clean and ready to use! 100% recommend to anyone looking to host a large party!

This is not a beach house, it's a beach palace! It was actually bigger than we expected. The place was super clean, well maintained, furniture in great condition, new grill and fully equipped for max fun: a kayak, a canoe, puzzles, board games, beach toys for the kids and so much more. Becky was super nice. A 10/10 experience, we'll try to go back next year!

Absolutely everything you could possibly think of was in the house for our use and labeled for easy use! The host (Gina) had drinks, snacks and even a bottle of wine waiting for our arrival. The house was spotless, gorgeous and the views of the water and sunrise were spectacular. We visited the area for our son’s college confernce swim meet and can’t wait to book the Blue Marlin again sooner than later!!!! So spectacular in every possible way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has to be the best ever!!!! Thanks again for hosting us.

We had a wonderful stay on John’s property. The house was as described, an older home, but we loved the quirkiness. It’s a peaceful area on the beach with beautiful scenery. We came during a snow storm. The snow on the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while admiring the snow. John was quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be return guests.

We loved staying here! The location was absolutely beautiful and the Airbnb was spotless and so cute. We will definitely come back again!
