I could not recommend this place and these hosts enough! The place was warm and welcoming and I absolutely love the location. A very peaceful neighborhood with easy bay access. The hosts were amazing and responsive. The house had some maintenance problems but at no fault of theirs…just typical house problems and they handled everything extremely well and we were not inconvenienced at all! Also our dog loved the place and they were stocked will all the dog necessities which was very helpful!

This was a really nice stay only a short walk from the beach. Host was very friendly and responsive and check in was easy. There are a few flights of stairs up to the room which is worth noting for anyone with health issues ot heavy bags but the room was clean and well decorated. The shower, in particular, is amazing. Overall I recommend!

Great location. Less then 10 min walk from beach. Close to good food. Child friendly. Didn’t bring my dog but could have. Overall 10 out of 10 if back in Va would do it again. Thanks for help with creating great memories

Jen was possibly the kindest, most helpful host I have experienced using Airbnb. She was pro-active in suggesting things for us to consider and a great communicator. Her place was just as advertised. The large open space (kitchen/dining/living rooms) was perfect for our group of mixed age family members. Jen's kitchen was particularly suited to our needs, even sporting a cook's scale so we could measure baking ingredients with precision. We filled and emptied her refrigerator several times. The walkers in our group reported great beach walks. Her dog-friendly neighborhood worked well for us also. We will always keep Jen's place in mind should we need a large, well appointed space in VaB in the future.

Scorno was the best host!! We were in Norfolk for work, and our original place was not in a safe area. This place saved us!! Scorno allowed us to make a last minute booking, and was even flexible to let us change our check-out date when we needed to leave early. I’ve never had a better host experience! The pictures don’t do this place justice…it feels even bigger than the photos and is so clean and bright. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.

We loved our stay here! It was such a cute and cozy place and we’re already talking about trying to come back for the summer! It’s a fairly short walk to the beach and only a short distance from shops and restaurants. Our furbaby loved the fenced in yard and was even given some treats in a welcome basket, which was so thoughtful. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

This house was perfect for our group. We had 16 baseball players and coaches stay in the house. Everyone had a bed, plenty of room and the pool table and ping pong table were a big hit. It allowed for team bonding when not on the field. The house was clean and had all that we needed to host a team dinner for all the families down for the weekend! Highly recommend.

Kat’s place was absolutely incredible! The attention to detail was impeccable—from the personalized welcome sign to the thoughtful amenities like snacks, coffee, and bottled water. The condo was spotless and offered plenty of space for me and my guest to relax comfortably. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Kat was incredibly responsive to any questions and even accommodated a later check-out. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again!

My wife flew down from California for a few days and I wanted it to be special…and this was definitely the perfect spot for that! Quiet, cozy, cute home feeling yet in the heart of so much to do in walkable distances from everything Virginia Beach had to offer. Did I mention it’s right outside of the boardwalk/beach! Emma was on top of everything that needed attending to and was very quick to respond if needed. Incredible place with an even better host that made this trip an absolute invaluable experience for me and my partner, Thank you Emma!

What a beautiful and serene space for a women’s retreat! It is very obvious that the home is very well loved as well as very special. We all discussed coming back again because we enjoyed the space, the comfort and the scenery very much. We thoroughly enjoyed the great blue heron right outside the window each day as well as breathtaking sunsets. It was hard to get back to the grind after such a beautiful sanctuary weekend away.

Lovely home and breathtaking views. As others mentioned it could use a few updates, but wasn't bad. Layout really nice for three separate families staying together.

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

Arlene was a great host! She was quick to answer any questions we had and wanted to make sure that everything was satisfactory when we arrived. She also made some great restaurant suggestions for us to try. Arlene's place is very comfortable. We felt very much at home. Everything was clean, the furniture was comfortable and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. She even provided toiletries like soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotions. Arlene provides everything that you need for a great day at the beach, a bike ride around the neighborhood or paddle boarding in the bay. I would definitely recommend Arlene's to anyone who wants a vacation away from all the noise and tourism. Arlene, thank you again for a wonderful stay at your place.

Heidi's place was great for us. Quick 3 days to drop off my daughter at the Navy base which it was only 20 minutes. The view in the house was amazing! Waking up to the bright sun coming in. The beach is walking distance like literally right out back. I had to go check it out even thought it was cold. But most definitely coming back in the summer. Loved the kitchen with the view made it more relaxing. Everything was great. We did not use our truck for the rest of the days, we walked to the restaurants around the area and grocery store. Heidi awesome host and very sweet. We had no issues. Highly recommend, loved it!

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

This house is so unique. The view is incredible, and if you love the water - this place is for you. The tide comes up under the house, and when you are sitting on the porch you feel like you are on a boat. It's so lovely. The beach is walkable when the tide goes down just a bit, and it was so peaceful in the offseason. The house is clean and stocked with just about everything you might need. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. Comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, and a bright and airy common space - this house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing get away.

We loved our stay at Diana's over Thanksgiving. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need. It's also in a great spot close to the water, which would be really nice in the summer. We felt right at home and the primary bathroom shower was a dream! The only things I would mention to consider for families with very small children is that the space between the bannister, stair railing and steps did stress me out with a 2 year old. But it was not a problem. And Froggie's live music does go late but nothing a sound machine couldn't cover. I highly recommend this home, would absolutely recommend to a friend or family! we loved it, thanks for having us!

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Absolutely everything you could possibly think of was in the house for our use and labeled for easy use! The host (Gina) had drinks, snacks and even a bottle of wine waiting for our arrival. The house was spotless, gorgeous and the views of the water and sunrise were spectacular. We visited the area for our son’s college confernce swim meet and can’t wait to book the Blue Marlin again sooner than later!!!! So spectacular in every possible way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has to be the best ever!!!! Thanks again for hosting us.
