The "Haus Mellhörn" under thatch is located in an elevated position with high-quality furnishings and with beautiful views of the large migratory dune with the unique Lister dune and heath landscape. This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Hello! We offer our cozy half of a thatched house. The cottage has 37 sqm downstairs, 28 sqm upstairs, a total of about 65 sqm. Upstairs, of course, is slanted. It is located in Boldixum on Föhr. This is a district of Wyk. Since it is still privately used by us, it does not have one thing: the efficient, smooth charm of a vacation home. Where the wild roses grow, that's where we live.

Cozy under thatch

You will be staying in the middle of the beautiful island of Föhr in the village of Midlum. The loft-like guest area on the upper floor of my fantastic thatched roof house welcomes you. You have your own kitchen and bathroom. You will sleep in a 140x200 large bed. A kitchen sofa as a bed (80x200 m) for a 3rd guest is available. You can make it cozy on the couch in front of the TV.
