Waterfront holiday rentals in Northern California

Located in the middle of Sausalito's waterfront walking district, Arun's place is cozy, convenient, and charming. You really can't do better. Minimalist modern, the arresting view of the San Francisco bay is its defining feature. With a French bistro moments away, this place delighted us. Our only caveat is the 2.5 flights of stairs leading to the unit; its not for the faint of leg.

This air bnb had such an incredible view. Such a comfortable bed, and I haven’t felt like I wanted to sleep in for so long in a while! Coffee and tea ready to go and an amazing way to start my day. The host was so sweet, took time to talk with me and make me feel safe. Also a super cute and friendly dog :) I would live there if I could! Highly recommend - worth every dime

Fourth stay at Jeff's beautiful flat on the beach. I keep returning because of its great location, sublime views, cleanliness, coziness, and responsive/friendly host. What a joyful space in truly a sacred place.

We had an amazing time at Evan’s, ist such a nice and lovely little beach apartment with an amazing view. You can feel the love that’s in this place and the location is amazing. Falling asleep to the ocean waves and waking up to a beautiful sunrise - can’t ask for more in an Airbnb! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay. Instructions were easy to follow and were provided in a timely fashion. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities listed in the description. Beds were comfy and the apartment was quiet. Great location and walkable to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Definitely loved being across the street from Dick Taylor Chocolates... definitely recommend their hot chocolates. Wonderful stay. Thank you Tia.

We had the BEST time at Susan’s place! The location could not have been better! It was GORGEOUS, private, and peaceful. The perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

This was our second time staying here & like the first, it did not disappoint. I can definitely see it becoming our come-to spot. It really has everything you need inside & out, for a nice, peaceful, relaxing time on the lake. We really enjoy our time here. The weather was perfect & fishing was great. The lake had a bit more algae this time, but that’s always iffy here & didn’t take away from being able to enjoy our time here. The nights were clear & cool & perfect for stargazing. Jeff is a fantastic host, kind & very responsive.

We had a great long weekend at the house in Discovery Bay. The location was beautiful, the house was spacious and had all utilities that we could have wished for. Thank you very much!

We are a group of friends and family got a chance to rent this home away from home from Jonathan. We had the blast and enjoyed every moment there. Jonathan is very nice and very attentive. On the day we checked in, we arrived 1 hour early, and the cleaners were still there, Jonathan was so nice to sent my friends and his little kids to the local ice cream shop to chill out while waiting for the house to be done. He even ordered ice cream for the kids that made them so happy. He really went extra miles just to make sure we enjoy our trip. Thank you! I would like to recommend his house to everyone. Don’t hesitate to rent this place. It is the most pleasant experience I had from my regularly vacation with airbnb and VRBO every year. Again, thanks Jonathan, we will be back!

We had a great time at Jason's house! We took advantage of the numerous games available in the coffee table chest, and the arcade games in the game room. It's a fun place and it was also very clean when we arrived. Jason was very responsive when we had a bit of an issue with the key box. Overall we had a great experience and we would willingly come back again!

Cindy is an amazing host, she is so responsive and easy to work with. Her home is beautiful and we love staying here!

We had a wonderful time staying here for a mini family reunion in Brentwood. We were a close drive to drive family and anything we needed, like gas, groceries, and Starbucks. The house was adorable with everything we needed, including an amazing view. Thanks for the peaceful getaway!

Lots of space to spread out. Great view and access to water. Kitchen is well stocked with all the tools needed. Sarah is very responsive.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and the ocean. Perfect place for wildlife viewing. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area with panoramic coastline views through the large picture windows. There's also a nice deck attached to the living room and master bedroom.

We stay at Seascape a couple of times a year, we love the location: beautiful beach walks, pools and hot tubs, walk to the market, and then just a quick drive to Capitola, downtown Santa Cruz, or even the boardwalk. This particular rental was lovely and very homey. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well appointed, there are two nice balconies- one with a great table that is perfect for cocktails or coffee. There are two pullout couches, which made the living room so fun to watch movies with the teenagers. More than anything, we appreciated the very accommodating host, who was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could leave our bags while we went shopping downtown. It was really a lovely stay. I recommend both Seascape, and this particular rental, very highly.

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

The unit was the perfect amount of cozy for my partner and our dog. We would stay here again just for the mountain views and closeness to the main part of town. Greg also had snow sleds that we got to use and it made the stay even more memorable! Really made it feel like we could explore Mammoth the right way.

One of the cleanest Airbnbs we have stayed at. Steps to the beach and the location is ideal and prime as it’s not too far or close to the town/freeway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marc’s lovely beach rental. Everything was as described, Marc sent clear messages regarding check in and necessities provided. Location was central to a lot of the day trips we had planned, (Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel/Point Lobos, and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk), but still off the beaten path offering a restful private retreat. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike around the pond path. Marc offered a very nice assortment of beach gear and toys. The beds were better than most, and I appreciated the queen/twin combo room instead of a typical twin/twin offering in the second bedroom. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, sharp knives and pantry basics. In the future I would pack a few pans since the non stick cookware was pretty beat. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

Beautiful little place, with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and natural landscaping. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Lots of security that patrolled day and night, which is nice. Fine dining restaurant is within walking distance.
