Solvang means "sunny meadow" in Norwegian a name earned by its location on the hillside, where the sun tracks east to west across the property for most of the day. The plot itself is about 1,800 m² of private terrain, so there's room to spread out, whether that's the garden, the forest edge, or just a quiet corner with a view. The house has three floors, though only the main floor is part of this rental. If you need a freezer space for groceries or the day's catch, there's one available in the basement for guests to use. A short path leads straight down to the water, making this a good base if you're into canoeing, kayaking or finishing, and there are several walking trails nearby for those who'd rather explore on foot. Under the cherry tree, you will stay in a lovingly furnished separate apartment on an old farmstead near Flensburg, surrounded by fields and meadows. The large, natural garden (about 300 m²) is all yours. Cherry trees, pond, sandbox and slide, plus the Baltic Sea just 20 minutes away. The Hofstuuv is a separate self-contained apartment. You can occasionally hear our children (ages 5 and 9) playing. However, we generally observe quiet hours.
