Farmstay holiday rentals in Northern Thailand

Orawan is super host for sure. Property was exactly what we needed after all the hotel stays with our little girls of 1 and 3 years old. The accomodation gave us a homely feel with a beautiful views on the paddies and mountains and Chiang Rai is just 15 minutes away. It gave us the much needed restful place to stay after all the bigger cities we have visited. Also the host made us feel very comfortable and made dinners and breakfasts as per our taste. Orawan was also very helpful with dropping us to the city and helping with renting a reliable scooter. We will come back for sure.

I like the serenity, the decor, the hospitality, clean, spacious. Most importantly, friendly to dogs and cats. Khun Bee and his family were very welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. The cat stopped slipping out of the room. Everyone was very nice. They were able to find it in a very early time. If you have to go back to Phayao again, you will want to go back and stay in the same place. I would recommend it for a group of friends or family with family as our favorite. Good for your heart. 💚💚💚

We cannot say enough about how generous and kind Wat & Boom are. They did so much for us, including bringing us eggs, farm produce, and breakfast treats, spending hours teaching our teenagers to harvest and prepare sugarcane juice and fresh coconut, showing us around their farm, and taking one of us to the hospital after a (self-inflicted) injury. The farm is beautiful and peaceful - we enjoyed this haven in nature as a travel break. We rode the provided bikes to the temple, village shops & restaurants, a cute coffee shop and around the area. We can also highly recommend the "Banthi Tour" with Mr P. (search on Tripadvisior) for a full day village experience about 15 minutes away. Staying at the farm feels a bit like glamping, with the downstairs patio, kitchen and 2 bathrooms open to the outside, and a comfortable bedroom upstairs with fans and good mosquito protection. Great place to stay. Short walk away from the busy walk street, but quiet and private place, surrounded by rise fields.

Montira's Cottage was awesome! Would definitely stay again. Close to Mae Kam Pong. A Grab driver can take you from Chiang Mai (60 min drive). House is super quiet and secluded. Very spacious. Can arrange a ride to / from Mae Kam Pong for 100 THB each way. Be sure to get diver's Whats App info so that you can arrange a ride from the house. Walking to Mae Kam Pong is nice but takes about 45 min. Of all the places in Thailand, Mae Kam Pong is my favorite. Very romantic and not too touristy. A must. Be sure to go to Ing Doi Coffee at the top of the hill, but you already know that. ;-)

Nick’s beautiful property is the perfect getaway spot. The house is stocked with anything you will need and there are many toilets. The decking area looks over an incredibly beautiful view and is a great place to just look at the stars and the ridge lines of the incredible rolling mountains. There was also a BBQ with coals which we could’ve used, however we did not visit Makro beforehand so we just ate at a nice restaurant 4 mins drive away. I would recommend you to have your own means of transport to get here. The road up to the property is very steep and there aren’t many options for taxis. We had bikes which were perfect, and cars can get up and down the road too. Incredible place, great value, responsive host and a view you’ll never forget - couldn’t recommend more.

The house where we stayed was a unique place to stay. Ideal for a family. It is very tasty designed with a lot of local (wooden) materials. The environment is quite natural and very quite. Communication with Bat was minimal and we did not meet him, but we received the information we needed.

The stay at Mae’s farm was absolutely phenomenal. Their farm is grand, with lots of space, spots, hills, and sights to relax to and just take in the atmosphere. Mae’s parents, and staff (P’Ging and P’Mon) were so lovely and amazing. They kept feeding me delicious food and the prices were very reasonable. They took care of me and accepted me into their home as if I was one of their own. P’Now also helped a lot with the logistics and telling me more about Chiang Mai. The coffee chats with Mae and P’Now were unforgettable! What truly left touched me is how all of them constantly invited me to join and be a part of their family (cooking, building, water plants etc.). Coco (farm cat) is also an extremely cuddly part of the family. They treated me as a son, and this is probably the best airbnb experience i’ve had. P’Now, Mae, Mae’s Parents, P’Ging’ and P’Mon are really some of the best people i’ve ever met in my life. I will miss everyone so much and can’t wait to be back in November! ❤️

What a gorgeous place! We spent two weeks here at the beginning of a 3 month stay in Thailand and it was perfect. Rural location away from tourists but with coffee shops, restaurants and an excellent Sunday flea market all in walking distance (bikes also provided). The staff were so lovely and kept us topped up with eggs, lemons and fresh greens from the gardens. We didn’t get to meet Chu however he went above and beyond to help us - ordering items for our baby and also helping us to extend our visa. Would 100% recommend for a gorgeous, relaxing stay away from the crowds x

Peaceful, rural location. Great restaurants with in short driving distance and provisions shop for essentials within walking distance. Our son loved the pool to cool off after our daily outings. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Carsten. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A beautiful place not too far from the city, lovely people and also lovely animals :) I just stayed two days but it was amazing! It's possible to order food and drinks with the app. if don't feel to walk or drive away.

We had an amazing time at Spicy Villa. The area is stunningly beautiful. The people are very kind, helpful and hospitable. Hoh especially was an amazing host and guide, very friendly and relaxed. He took us on the most beautiful walk and made us delicious food. Bunditto made sure we had what we needed. We slept very well, despite it getting chilly at night (make sure to pack some warm clothes). Thank you everyone!

To celebrate the New Year, my family gathered in Chiang Mai and stayed at Joy and Joerg’s Airbnb, which was the perfect spot for our reunion. In August, I visited their place in advance, and they kindly showed me around, sharing tips on relaxation, cooking, and massages. In December, the house comfortably accommodated everyone in separate bedrooms. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, and having a barbecue with fresh meat and vegetables. Their delicious Thai dishes, with separate chili and non-chili plates, were perfect for our family’s preferences. Despite minor issues like rental car trouble and a family member falling ill, Joy and Joerg provided excellent support and advice. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we left with cherished memories.

What a beautiful home! 30 minutes outside of the center of Chiang Mai was great for us, we loved being in a more local area. It was also perfect location for doing elephant tours and biking to see the mountainsides. The home is gorgeous, the pool was so great after super hot adventure days. All around amazing :)

Great place, really cool spot right on the edge of a creek. Very unique little house, feels like you're tucked away in your own little paradise. Very easy to get to central Chiang Mai. Bob has built something really special here. Super helpful guy and really friendly, I will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic area with very beautiful plants and garden, blessed with all kinds of fruit that you get served for breakfast! The owners Khun Nong & Khun Khit are always present and know all the questions answers! Extremely friendly and also interested in yours! Family and any staff, should not go unmentioned, especially the hearty housekeeper! Right from the start, they helped us find a "decent, strong" motorcycle - Doi Inthanon - to name just a destination where you need one;) Also, it's a little outside what we wanted and were looking for!... And found 😎 The fruit piece is incredibly good, - definitely take the Thai-Breakfast!! 😍 Ideal for spending the whole day, enjoying and/or also looking at the area around!! Authentic cooking kitchens, cultivation fields including water buffalo, as well as a market(dalaat) and a temple( Wat), can be explored and marveled there! If you appreciate it, book immediately ;)

A Hidden Diamond Place for a Special Occasions! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I truly recommend this place. From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as depicted in the photos—immaculately clean and beautifully maintained. We chose this stunning location for our wedding photos, and it was the perfect backdrop. The owner is truly wonderful; he was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to decorate the space with additional flowers, making it even more magical (look at the pictures!♡) The property features a lovely party area, which added to the charm of our celebration. The garden is absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. If you're looking for a place for a vacation or host a special event surrounded by fresh air and natural beauty, this is the spot for you! 한국 도시에 벗어나서 치앙마이에 쉬실곳을 찾는다면 여기입니다! 너무 깨끗하고 사진이 나온 그대로 이뻐요ㅎㅎ ❤️
