Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Northumberland

The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

An outstanding location with the best views. Andy and Lyd were really nice and very helpful. The apartment felt homely, comfortable and warm. Ideal to return to after a long hike. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

we stayed in this lovely little house with our teenage son and our dog. The house is clean and cosy and lots of amenities. The beds were very comfy and had TVs in the rooms. Location was great very near the beach and a little shop to grab bits and bobs and also short walk to pubs across the road for food etc. We really liked the welcome pack which was very thoughtful. Thanks and would definitely stay here again.

This is a great house for a multigenerational group. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. lots provided to keep everyone entertained in mixed weather - hot tub, bikes, gaming equipment, darts, table tennis, books etc. Very clean and comfortable. We were well looked after at the Pheasant Inn and Falstone Tea Rooms. Would recommend.

Lovely to stay here for a second time. The apartment was clean and welcoming and well situated for all the activities we wanted to do.

Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

We had a really comfortable stay at Cuddys Rest. Great location to visit Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne. A lovely welcome, thank you for the chocolates. Norman has thought of everything to make you feel at home, the kitchen is well-equipped for self catering. A local Coop just a few minutes walk away. Having parking on site is a plus too. We'd happily return to Cuddys Rest.

Fantastic flat, spacious and bright. Location is perfect, 30 seconds to the main square and 30 seconds the other way to a lovely walk along the River Tweed.

Anne and Norman’s place was wonderful! Quiet, clean, easy to get around by bus, train or Uber/Taxi. I had a terrific time and was able to get to every place I wanted to visit via public transit. Shops for grocery was a short walk away. Norman and Anne were the most friendly and lovely people you would ever meet. Thank you so much! 😊

The NEST is a beautiful space. Immaculately clean, well-equipped and super comfortable. Right in the middle of town meant no car needed. A bit cold for the terrace, but on warmer days it would be a beautiful space to sit and drink a glass of wine or two (which Lesley kindly provided for us). We were fortunate enough to meet Lesley as we arrived a little early and she was kind enough to let us leave our bags before check-in. A wealth of local knowledge, friendly, professional and clearly loves both the town and The NEST. She has every right to be proud of it. We had a fantastic time there and wouldn’t look anywhere else if our travels take us to Berwick again. Thanks Lesley.

Great place to stay - lovely accommodation, handy for the metro and shops. We’ve been here a few times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we were coming up to Newcastle for a few days

We had the most wonderful memorable stay at Leaholme cottages. Lynn was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond helping with our requests for extras in the cottage . We were so grateful to check in early too. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated but so welcoming, spotless and homely. Location was fantastic, we would recommend this beautiful pad to all our friends and family and will definitely be back, we thoroughy recommend. Thank you Lynn

Jen was a brilliant host. She gave me all the information I needed in advance and replied quickly if I had any questions. Brilliant place very comfortable. Easy to find. Had absolutely no problems. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from the bus stop which can take you into Newcastle or out to Blyth to take transport along the coast or further north. Only a few more minutes from there is a shop you can get essentials from.

Diane was lovely, so helpful from showing us around to the very detailed instructions on all the facilities. Always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is comfy and has everything you need. Loved the finishing touches and welcome pack which included dog treats. The beach, coastal trails and country park are a short walk away making it a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return

Such a perfect property for a getaway in Newcastle. We thank Kristopher so much for the stay! The house was gorgeous and spotless, nice and modern with a private garden and hottub. It's on a lovely street and we walked straight into the city centre from here. Check in instructions were clear. We'd absolutely stay here again instead of a hotel next time we visit ❤️

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

Brian’s apartment was exactly as described ,clean and tidy with everything needed for our stay. Great location ten minutes from St Games Park by foot and the city centre, Quayside is about 15 minutes walk. We were there for the Football so it was perfect for us.
