Perfect place for us. Cameron was really helpful and made our stay that much more special. He also recommended a great park for us to let our pooch run free! Great house.

This is a phenomenal location. The little suite is perfect with stunning views of the ocean.

The weather had just turned from fall to winter. The space was a little cool when I arrived. And to be fair, I arrived early, thanks to Shannon’s flexibility. Shannon went above and beyond to ensure we were cozy that evening. Why am I sharing this experience? Because Shannon’s response was amazing. Not only did she add an additional heat source, she welcomed my friend and I into her home to enjoy a glass of wine and her warm fire whilst the final warming occurred. And, we were cozy and comfortable the entire time. Shannon is a warm and generous soul. Further, Sam the Cat, allowed me to give him scritches on his head and shoulders. And, Shannon allowed my friend to harvest a wee bit of her beautiful Holly. Finally, the guest information book is great and provided helpful dining and hiking advice. Frankly, I am surprised, and thankful, the time was available when we booked given the hospitality. Thank you Shannon and Sam!

Gail's House is a beloved family getaway filled with quirky and interesting marine and nautical pictures and gadgets so lovingly collected. It's very comfortable and right on the dock and the views are amazing. Lucky for us, we were there in prawn season and our hosts gave us the best prawns we have ever had, fresh from the water. I want to return.

This was exactly what I was looking for in my vacation. It was a restful, private location in the middle of the woods, so I had some peaceful time in the wilds to get some writing done, but was still close enough to town to visit friends and do touristy things. It was easy to find, easily accessible, and a beautiful getaway. The hosts were amazing- proactively offering tips for RV living and were super responsive to any questions I had. I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for somewhere private, with beautiful misty mornings and ocean views.

This cozy little hide away way was just what we needed. We enjoyed the stay it was low key and peaceful would definitely come again in the future. Loved it! The picture window is perfect for viewing all the beautiful creatures that visit the bay. We were sad to have to leave would have stayed indefinitely if we could.

This was a great location to access the ferry. Beautiful sunsets and the occasional seal sighting were experienced from the spacious deck. Pender has lots to see and do.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

A beautiful, very clean apartment in a wonderful location. The only wish would be is Air conditioning but large fans were provided and that was very nice

Super cozy and lovely home. Great location! It's a 2 minutes walk to the lake and has a playground for the kids. My family and I had a great time and we would love to come back again! Thank you Deanna for hosting this amazing home!

We loved staying at this beautiful home. The house is very inviting and has lovely baths and bedrooms . The best is the sweeping deck with its spectacular view. The beauty and peacefulness of it has to be experienced to fully appreciate, it was better than the pictures. We loved watching sunrise and sunsets from the deck. We also did see seals and sea otters liked climbing onto the deck. Beautiful trails are a short driving distance away. This is a very peaceful , but more out of the way location. It is for relaxation, but not for those looking for nearby restaurants. However, we did drive twice to Victoria to enjoy all the beautiful city has to offer, including a fantastic whale watching trip with Eagle Wing tours , who we cannot recommend enough. They went out of their way to show us killer whales, humpback whales and sea lions. . A trip to Hatley castle was also very lovely. We loved our time at this home and would return and highly recommend it for a beautiful and peaceful stay.

We had a great stay at Anne-Maree’s suite. Although there was no stove (due to local restrictions), the kitchen was well equipped. However, the few places where you can eat are excellent. i would highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Alex's place this winter. The location was great and the views of the lagoon were fabulous. We especially enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back yard, which included otters, rabbits, numerous migratory birds and a bald eagle! We were close to loads of hiking trails and the amazing park system that Southern Vancouver Island has to offer. The accommodations were exactly as shown on the website, everything was spotless, and Alex was quick to respond to all of our questions. There was loads of room for 4 people. We definitely hope to return in the future! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable Alex!

We had a great stay at Christine’s place! A beautiful house and view. Very peaceful area. Christine was friendly and always quick to respond. We would love to stay here again.

This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.

This place was perfect; everything was exactly as described and the suite was cozy and comfortable. The surrounding parks were wonderful for walks and runs, and I thoroughly appreciated my stay; I would come back here anytime!

Our stay at the Oceanfront was lovely. We spent most of our time enjoying the wonderful view of the water. We saw hawks, eagles, seals and otters. As in previous reviews the house has anything you need for your stay. We had Christmas dinner and had everything we needed. There were 8 of us and the home accommodated all of us comfortably. Derek was a great co-host responding to all of my questions and providing detailed instructions for check-in, security, etc. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone staying in the Sooke area.
