Freihof - Chez Annemarie

The historic Freihof from 1782 is an outstanding example of the rural building culture of the 18th century. The farmhouse, which is under national protection, was extensively renovated in 2022 in accordance with historical preservation standards. Great importance was attached to the preservation of the historical building fabric, while at the same time a contemporary use was made possible. Today, the building houses three independent apartments, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern living comfort.

A cosy hideaway in the countryside - perfect for relaxing. Whether alone, as a couple or with family, everyone will find peace and quiet here. Music lovers will find a piano or a guitar. The stylish accommodation with 5.5 rooms offers a retreat for everyone. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Emmental, there are marvellous hiking trails and refreshing streams for swimming. There is also a petting zoo, horse riding and even camel rides nearby - an idyllic experience for young and old.

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

Private SPA experience garden carefree design

We are renovating for you. There is currently scaffolding around the building. The complex is fully usable. Glamping in the 5.90 m long living and sleeping barrel in the carefree adventure garden. The garden is an exhibition of Sorglos Design AG to try out. You sleep in the living barrel and can try and enjoy saunas, hot tubs, fire tongue for a fee. If you decide to purchase one of the products, we will refund the rent. Parking, Wi-Fi in the middle of the village next to the station.

If you are looking for a quiet place in a central location, you will love our guest house Fryburg! Located 15 minutes from the A1 near Langenthal, far from the street noise, our guest house offers you the tranquility and comfort of a fully furnished 2.5-room apartment all to yourself. The guest house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people with a sofa bed. Business travelers and families feel comfortable with us. In summer, the seating area with a fire bowl invites you to linger.

Welcome! Our spacious house with a large garden is idyllically situated on a farm paradise, between Bern (1 hour), Zurich (1 hour), Lucerne (1.5 hours) and near Solothurn (7 minutes). Only 500m away from the Aare river, perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers. Train station 850m away. Explore the Jura Südfuss hiking area and the Balmberg climbing park (15min). Enjoy activities such as alpaca trekking, river boating, biking, jogging, hiking and free parking out front.

Unique opportunity to stay in a rustic barn by the pond. In rural surroundings, switch off from everyday life, relax and enjoy the tranquility. The barn is equipped with electricity (light, fridge, oven, hotplates, kettle, Wi-Fi). Private spring water is available directly outside the attic. A hot plate is available, including basic equipment for cooking. Separate bathroom with toilet/shower is available in the main house on the ground floor (20 meters).

Our accommodation is located on a quiet farm in the countryside, with various animals. Please do not feed the animals. Thank you. The caravan is cozy and charmingly furnished, here you can feel comfortable and relax in nature. The nearest town (Langenthal) can be reached by car in about 2-3 minutes, and there is a bus station and a restaurant in the immediate vicinity. Recommended Cafe Bäckerei Felber in Lotzwil. Beautiful 3-room apartment with garden house use

The apartment is ideal for uncomplicated and relaxing holidays. The location between the southern foot of the Jura and the Längwald forest tempts you to take relaxing walks on well-marked hiking trails. Hikes along the Jura heights are also recommended. In clear weather, they offer the hiker a unique distant view of the central plateau and the Alps. Birthplace and residence of the famous writer and honorary citizen Gerhard Meier.

Time out in the countryside / coziness in the farmhouse

The attic of the farmhouse has been newly built with a lot of charm and tastefully furnished. After a bike ride or a hike through the adjacent Emmental/Napf area, relax in our small "wellness oasis" with a bathtub and rain shower. For children there is a rocking horse, marble track, mini trampoline and in the garden swing & playhouse. On our lively farm there are 30 cows and their calves, 2 cats, chickens and turkeys.
