Holiday rentals with a kayak in Okaloosa Island

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed, love the bay view from the balcony, free transportation around the resort to the beach and to the village of Baytowne Wharf which had restaurants and shops. Also the outlet and other restaurants are close by. Looking forward to staying there again.

We visit the same area a couple times a year and love bringing the boat, so this place was great! We had a 6 and 8 year old with us. They always had something to do with the canal being there! The deck was perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach, also great for us! We visited a couple different areas, seeing sea turtles at one. It has kayaks, another great perk! There were a few things it didn’t have. We had to buy a coffee maker for pods the first day. There are no TVs except the living room. We like to relax in the evenings at bedtime. No wagon or beach chairs. I know a lot of places don’t have this, but it’s so nice when they do! Overall, this is an amazing place. Perfect for fishing and being on the water!

Amazing stay at the Salty Pirate! We loved how cozy and comfortable the unit was. Such thoughtful touches throughout the condo. Unexpected yet delightful and delicious surprises awaited us. We truly felt welcome and were so appreciative of the special VIP treatment. Mady and Tom genuinely enjoy providing guests with a memorable experience. We hope to visit again soon!

We LOVE this place!! Rick and Sylvia made us feel like part of the family. More then everything you need!! Fishing , restraints, beautiful natural surroundings. They gave us helpful tips on restraints, attractions , helped us fish and became good friends. The sweetest hosts we have ever had!! Very friendly but private. They provided everything!! And then some!! Helped us out soooo sooo much on sooo many levels. We came for a rodeo and just wanted a cool place to stay. This is definitely a gem of a place!! The space was super clean and equipped with everything. They also provided a lot of fishing equipment and a kayak and hammock for hanging out in between time. We got to hang out with them a bit, we are social . They are very cool!! Super sweet, helpful friendly, would give the shirt off their back kind of people!! This is what we look for in an Airbnb. They truly care about their guests!! Above and beyond for comfort!! The stay was incredible!! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Joseph’s place is a little paradise. A lovely resort which includes a fitness room. The pictures on airbnb are accurate in fact the place looks better than the pictures. Also for anyone who comes here in the colder months there is an electric fireplace which creates warmth and a fantastic ambiance. Joseph was always responsive and we can’t wait to come back.

Alina and Matt's Condo was great!!! The view of the bay right off the back porch area was beautiful!!! One night, our daughter saw, and videoed two dolphins swimming by, so neat!!! It was quite comfortable and perfect for our quick get away from snow... :-). We would definitely recommend Alina and Matt’s place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway! Thanks for having us!!! We had a great stay in Santa Rosa beach. We got to experience the florida blizzard during our trip! It was a very short walk to the beach and it was nice to wake up to the views of the lake especially when the dock was covered with snow. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your home

Paula’s place was just what I needed for a quiet relaxing couple of days. It was beautiful to just watch the water. Sunrise was stunning. It did rain at one point but couldn’t really tell with boat movement. Paula was super responsive with my questions and concerns. Would definitely stay again.

We visited in October 2024 -had 6 kids(9,10,12,12,13,14) &6 adults(42,43,44,44,68,78) & felt like the space was great for not feeling on top of each other but could come together to eat & play whenever we wanted. The basement was great for the oldest two as they could get in and out with no stairs and easy access to pool and dock. Plus they had their own kitchen area.The main floor has two rooms - a shared bathroom plus a great couch where I think all 6 kids enjoyed some relaxation most mornings. The upper floor takes a good three sets of stairs to get to primary room & bunk/full bed room that both have their own bathroom. The home was well stocked with hand soaps, shampoos/conditioner in each room which was an added bonus. Major cooks may struggle a bit with quality of pots and pans but if you’re like us vacation is for eating out:) We loved the outdoor amenities & Lauras willingness to help with lifejackets for the teens when we didn’t see any. Would love to return and recommend!
