It is considered a strategic town, a few kilometers from Lugano and numerous tourist attractions (Splash&Spa, Lugano Lake, Mountain Bike excursions, Monte Tamaro, etc.). Close to many services such as: supermarkets, restaurants, bars, ATMs, post offices and pharmacies. A few minutes' walk takes you to the main public transport (bus and train) and highway entrances.

Il Grottino

The "grottino" (NL-00003565) is a small independent house consisting of two rooms: on the ground floor the living area with a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower cubicle, on the first floor the sleeping area with a double bed. It can only accommodate two adults, and a private parking space is available a few metres away. There's no TV. Quiet and sunny area, surrounded by greenery with a large garden for guests. 16 km from Lake Lugano, 12 km from Bellinzona and 25 km from Locarno.

It lies in the exclusive district of Lugano - Castagnola, at the foot of Monte Bre’ , "the sunniest mountain in Switzerland", 50 meters from Lake Lugano, and with a splendid view over the lake and the majestic Mount San Salvatore. It is at the beginning of the idyllic path along the lake to Gandria, past the beautiful beach " San Domenico " and some romantic restaurants.

Casa Talamona is one of the oldest medieval mansions inside the old city walls in the nucleus of Sala Capriasca (birthplace of the famous Swiss-Argentina poetess Alfonsina Storni). 50 meters away is the grocery store and the public transport stop that connects Sala to Lugano. The one-bedroom apartment, overlooking the private garden, is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. It can accommodate up to 4 people and has private parking in the immediate vicinity.
