House with lots of character and good vibe. Beautiful views over lake and situated in a beautiful setting. Functionally furnished for a pleasant stay. Recommended for people who are looking for peace in a very beautiful area but also not want to be too far from cities such as Oslo and Hamar.

We enjoyed our stay at Liv Irene's beautiful home. It is such a cosy home with a beautiful garden and everything was very clean. The chickens and duck were so much fun to look at for our children and there are many beautiful spots to visit in the surroundings. Only downside was that many streets in the area are narrow without sidewalks so we felt most comfortable taking the car to get around since we had children with us.

We were very happy with our stay. Very nice house with quite close to Sweden. 10 min away from Norby shopping center, 20 min away from Strømstad and 2 hours away from Gothenburg, Quiet and quiet, and child friendly area. Super landlord who was super nice and was very quick to respond. Incredibly delightful experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect alternative to expensive hotels, I was there for an event and had to get up early so loved the peaceful quiet location. Place was clean and modern. 10/10

Can we give six stars? Lovely house&apt, what a view to lakeside. Peace and calm. We met both Jan and Julianne and had nice conversation. They are experienced hosts of our age. Nice to share Airbnb stories. Apartment was perfect for old couple. Easy check-in, full kitchen & bathroom. Special thanks for bed. Recommendation: walk down to the lakeside and beach. I liked this place so much that I came back just a few weeks later. Oystein & Hanne are truly good people and they truly care! I can’t say enough about their hospitality. Oystein was kind enough to give me a few rides since my phone didn’t work and I couldn’t call a cab. I highly recommend it!

Very happy with the stay! Cozy and warm reception upon arrival of Lise and the dog. 😊 After closer to a week on a camping trip, it was an absolutely lovely end to the trip to be able to take a good hot shower and sleep in a bed, couldn't be better! 😁👍🏼

We had a great stay at Maja‘s apartment. It was even possible to check-in in the middle of the night what was really helpful for us because of the available flights. When we arrived, everything was perfectly prepared and we could just change and go to bed. During our stay and also in advance, she gave us very helpful advice and when we had a question she responded quickly. I would recommend Maja‘s place to anyone who wants to be close to Oslo but wants to have a peaceful place to go back to.
