Great location. Stayed here to move our daughter in downtown Ottawa (Sandy Hill). About a 10 minute drive to her. Area felt safe and is close to bike trails!! Space had everything we needed down to some snacks which came in handy! Larger windows in the basement made it feel like u weren’t in a basement. Would stay again. Josh was very helpful and accommodating:)

Great place to stay, and amazing host. Awesome communication, proactive. place was beautiful, in a great family friendly neighborhood. Came with our 2 year old and Peter made sure he had a comfortable stay! Definitely would recommend!

Great location along the Rideau Canal and walkable to so many great places. It was the perfect clean and comfortable base camp for a week in Ottawa.

Igor was very responsive and friendly Clear instructions for check-in. Also the property was exactly what the pictures showed. I would definitely recommend Igor’s property.

Great place! 4 adults, 3 children. We skied at Camp Fortune 3 days and visited a museum on the fourth. Pictures describe the place very well. Kids played in the huge backyard. We also went for a 2 hour walk on a trail nearby. It’s a house with character, and can be a bit draughty in some places, and also is unevenly heated. That was our only issue. Nice showers and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Good lighting. Kitchen is well-stocked and spacious. Mud room large and convenient. We would definitely return. Thank you!

Dr. Brown was responsive and helpful from the minute I booked our stay. We were able to be together as a family, play pool and other activities with the home as well as get around to surrounding areas easily. It was quiet and nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we were very thankful for that.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyle's cottage. We were 2 couples staying for a relaxing weekend. The cottage was super clean with everything you could possibly need for a perfect time. the hot tub was clean and ready for use. Kyle was kind and answered all our questions quickly. We would 100% reccomend Kyle's cottage. We will return!
