The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. Dorfkind Apartment – "am Wiehnenbrunnen"

Our former hotel, which is over 175 years old, The farmhouse is located in the centre of Queidersbach, directly opposite the park-like village square. You live in a one-room flat with a kitchen and a bathroom. You can find everyday essentials (supermarket, bakeries, butchers, pharmacy, etc.) within a few minutes’ walk of our building. Fresh eggs are available at the farm next door and a small fruit & vegetable market takes place diagonally opposite in the old dairy house every Saturday.

The builder of this house, Ludwig Jacob, moved like many Mackenbacher into the world to earn a living for his family with his music. In 1906 he was able to build this house in the style of the usual "musicians' houses" here. In 2014 we set up the apartment on one floor and are always happy to welcome guests from all over the world. We also speak English.
