Historic centre, with cosy terraces

Artepalermo is a Bed and Breakfast apartment in the historic centre of Palermo, on the top floor of an old house, without lift, and surrounded by lanes, churches, markets, washing, squares and terraces. You will live in the house of an artist and you can visit her studio. Your room is more than 25 square metres, it has a double and a single bed, a sofa, a bureau and a balcony. There is also a shared sitting room, a roof terrace, another little terrace and a kitchen, where guests can also cook. You will have a private bathroom, but it is not in the room itself. The furniture and the style of the apartment is basic with an artistic touch. There is free wireless internet. As we are really in the heart of the centre, you can walk within a few minutes to the markets, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, musea, port, parks. It is less than 5 minutes walking to the sea. The train station is at 10 minutes walking. In case you come by car (but you don't need it here) :you cannot go into the old centre by car without a special pass between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. except during the weekend. You can park on Foro Italico (near Porta Felice is the nearest). If somebody asks money, give maximum 1 or 2 euros. We are a Dutch woman, a Tunisian man and a Sicilian dog. We speak English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic.

The b&b is located at the foot of Mount Pilgrim and just 50 meters from the cliffs of Addaura. The beautiful beach of Mondello(defined as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean), its ancient seaside village and the nature reserve of Capogallo are within walking distance. In about half anhour in the historic center of Palermo you can admire the monuments, UNESCO heritage, Norman style,Baroque,Liberty and explore the colorful popular markets and taste the exquisite Sicilian cuisine.

"Casa Zyz rooms and suites" was born first, with a delightful small apartment on the 1st floor of an ancient building, then it expanded and, at the 2nd floor was born our 3* guest house with attention to the smallest details, with 3 rooms with private bathroom (I Mori, La Pigna and La Trinacria) and a common area where we will serve an excellent breakfast. Lovely room, with lock in private apartment, located 7 minutes from the historic center of Palermo, by public transport, less by private transport. In the area there is any type of shop that can be reached on foot. In the evening you can move to the nightlife in a few minutes with the tram that stops right below the accommodation. In the apartment there are all the amenities, just ask. Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and desk allow you to have fun or work in complete peace of mind.
