The house is a green area shared with many birds, such as thrushes, wood thrushes, vireos and woodpeckers. It has 210 meters of waterfalls and pools. Our water comes from the spring and is potable. This house was born from a child's dream. My grandfather was a bricklayer and I learned to build with him. Here is the beginning of a long journey of stories. Moments that I am building and depositing memories of a life guided by caring for nature and creating dreams. Feel free to enter this sanctuary.

An immersive forest retreat at Aldeia Rizoma

This brand new house sits high above the trees inside the Aldeia Rizoma eco village, a gated property 15 minutes away from the city historical center. The property offers a jungle gym, sauna (paid as an extra), private trails and access to 5 private waterfalls. The one bedroom studio has a king size bed built high so you can watch the forrest from it. It offers a private hot tube and a fully equipped kitchen. There is an extra bed that can be used for a third person with an extra fee per night

The famous Monkey House is an observatory between the trees immersed gently into the forest of Aldeia Rizoma ecological condominium at 15-25min from Paraty downtown. Dozens of natural pools and waterfalls, walking and running trails, gym, sauna, agroforestry, as well massage and yoga services, are all parts of the healing experiences, exclusive for the Aldeia Rizoma guests. The house has very comfortable interiors, Starlink high-speed internet connection, all in a very private location.

Please note that the apartment is located on the second floor, accessible only by a staircase (wide, with handrail, between 12 and 15 flights of stairs). We do not accept pets.
