A perfect hideaway for a relaxing visit, the 120m2 house is spacious, peaceful and ideally placed for exploring this lovely region.

Located in a small quiet village in the south of Charente, you have a large modern and well-equipped accommodation (Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washing machine...) 3 bedrooms, one with a 160 bed with private bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs a mezzanine with 2 bedrooms (one with a 140 x 190 bed and the other a 120 x 190 bed) and a bathroom + a desk area You have a small enclosed courtyard with terrace in front of the accommodation. It has an Orange Livebox connected to fiber optics.

It offers all the comforts to facilitate your stay (Wi-Fi and fiber optic, equipped kitchen, washing machine, terrace, barbecue...). The little extras: your host practices traditional Chinese energy and the outdoor spa between June and September.

Welcome to the farmhouse at Domaine de la Vaure, a property full of character in the heart of the Charente countryside. Antique stonework and exposed beams create a warm and authentic atmosphere. Some of the beams are low, reflecting the charm of the traditional architecture – please be aware of this. The kitchen is functional but small. For added comfort, we recommend also booking the estate’s studio, which offers a significant amount of extra space.

Old 18th century Charentais house, the charm of stone combined with modern comfort with a private terrace overlooking the surrounding hillsides. The village center is within walking distance, there is a quality butcher shop, a bakery, a post office with access to local tourist information, the town hall, a laundromat and a "SPAR" supermarket. Many activities possible in the area. At the crossroads of the Gironde, Charente-Maritime and Dordogne.

The "Domaine de Champ Rose" is a large gîte with a PRIVATE, COVERED, HEATED SWIMMING POOL OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND. 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. You can relax in the peace and quiet of the South Charente countryside in our large, charming gîte. We'll give you a family-friendly welcome and guide you on things to do in the area. Large, shady park, billiards table and library, plus a pétanque court. We accept a maximum of 18 people. No pets.

No swimming, no fishing: just the pleasure of slowing down.

Le Petit Tournesol - gîte for two in Challignac

The little Gîte is a beautiful open plan space for two people. A double bedroom sits on the mezzanine level. The gîte sits adjacent to our home ‘Le Petit Tournesol’ and is surrounded by gardens and countryside. In the day please enjoy the pool area (May-September) and the gardens to relax and unwind. Reservations for age 18+ only. We are unable to host children and infants.

The Prairial

In the countryside, this home is ideal for one/two or three adults and a toddler. Accessible on one level and with a surface area of 50 m2, this house is completed by a terrace of 35 m2. You will have a nice view of the meadow, the orchard, and the vegetable garden. Your days will be enhanced by birdsong, squirrel acrobatics, butterfly flight and owl hooting.
