My place is a wooden house built by local carpenters with local timber. We use 100% renewable energy and even the waste is off grid. Situated in our 2 acre garden in a residential neighbourhood, opposite the pine forest. You can walk to the village for boulangerie and restaurants. We are 15 min from the Atlantic beaches of Contis. Maison Azu – 2 bedroom gîte

Lydia and Pierre-Yves will be happy to welcome you to Maison Azu, an old farmhouse from 1850 that they have restored; the cottage was built in the old stable. The village of Josse is located on the banks of the Adour, 20 km from the Landes beaches, at the gates of the Basque Country, Béarn, Spain. The two comfortable bedrooms each have a terrace and separate bathrooms. The living room has a fully equipped kitchen. Terrace and private garden of about 300 m2.

You will like the dominating situation of this accommodation (50m2) and its terrace (30m2) which are nestled on the flank of the superhossegor hill, in the middle of the cork oaks. Without any opposite this will be your haven of peace, from which you will be 2 minutes from the lake on foot and 10 minutes of oyster tastings from the bottom of the lake. A 1 minute walk you will enjoy the unforgettable lake and ocean point of view that makes the area famous.

The ocean beaches (Mimizan, Contis, Lespecier...) are 45min away by car.
