Our charming bedroom has a queen bed, sofa, bistro table and chairs and is close to beach access at Southey Point as in our cover pic.The bathroom has a newly installed shower, washbasin and composting toilet. There is a closet and an outside deck space. Although the space doesn’t have a kitchen, there is a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and toaster for the convenience of our guests and continental breakfast items are provided. We look forward to welcoming guests to this idyllic part of the world.

The space is decorated with modern and boho touches. Whether you are staying for a romantic getaway, stopping-over on your way to explore the rest of the Island, or traveling for business, you will find all the comforts you need for a short stay. Located outside of Parksville, about 10 minutes from town.

The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

Overlooking the beach on Ladysmith Bay, this beautifully appointed and private oceanfront suite boasts unobstructed, floor to ceiling, views of the Bay. From the comfort of your bed, watch the morning sun rise over the water, as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee. Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.
