The house is located in a tranquil area with fantastic country views. There are good pub/restaurants in the nearby local villages and Shrewsbury and Welshpool , Lake Vyrnwy, Snowdonia.. are within easy driving distance.

A delightful listed farmhouse on the edge of a small village in the spectacular Clun Valley. 'Wellfield Farmhouse' offers a warm welcome & has a wealth of period features. Large reception rooms with wood burners, cosy snug, & a family TV room offer a range of areas to relax in. A vast vaulted kitchen is well equipped with all amenities including an AGA. Beautiful bedrooms. Jacuzzi bath, sauna & swimming pool (June to September) (heated on request for extra fee ). BBQ & outdoor eating area. Wifi.

Vale Chestnut cottage used to be a milking shed. The cottage has a bedroom on the ground floor with built-in wardrobes, a shower room and a good-sized entrance hall ideal for storing bags, boots and coats. The open-plan kitchen, living and dining room is upstairs to take advantage of those beautiful views. It is very well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, modern oven and hob, and Smart TV with guest mode enabling you to log into your own streaming services. There is a balcony with seating.

This stunning 'tiny house' has everything you may need - a real log burning stove, electric radiator, mains power, a charming and amusing 'bucket shower', fridge freezer, gas hob, toaster and kettle! The 'Poo with a view' composting loo is a minutes' walk from the cabin as is the exhilarating plunge pool with mini waterfall for 'wild swimming/bathing' enthusiasts! There are starry night skies and absolutely no hum of traffic. Across the valley you’ll see an ancient standing stone, Carreg y Noddfa, the Stone of Sanctuary. This area has been known as a sanctuary for centuries, and so it remains.

It has its own private garden and the benefit of using our communal grounds with a natural Swimming Pool, sauna and greenhouse/comservatory. The farm is set in 30 acres of organic fields with hedgerows teaming with wildflowers and wildlife. It is a short steep walk through the fields to reach the top of the Skirrid mountain via our private route.
