Inside the Safari Lodge there is everything you need to make your stay the perfect getaway. The kitchen is fitted with gas hob, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and all cooking essentials. 2 bedrooms offers you comfortable beds with all bedding and towels provided as well as extra blankets. Our bell tent with a hot tub is the perfect peaceful countryside escape. With stunning views over the black mountains from your bed it is the ideal place to relax. Our tents are well spaced in a 2 acre field so peace is guaranteed. Dogs are welcome! Located on a working family farm there are footpaths connecting you to many gorgeous walks, and the black mountains only a short drive away. We are also only 20 minutes drive from Hay-on-Wye and 35 minutes from the city of Hereford for days out.

Two Bell Tents away from the Madding Crowd

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. We offer 2 bell tents set on decking - a 2 person and a larger one that sleeps 3 people. They are situated at the top of an ancient broadleaf wood by a spring fed pond. Access is via the ancient drovers’ path up to the common from our farm where you will leave your car. In addition there is a composting loo (not for the faint hearted) and a heated shower. There is a fire pit for you to sit around in the evening and cook over.

A cozy and romantic escape - curl up under the fairy lights with a hot chocolate while the rain patters on canvas. It is a beautiful spot on the bank of the River Grwyne with only the sound of the river and nature to keep you company. The tent has a double bed with memory foam mattress, wood burning stove, hot showers, toilet and off grid power supply.

 Fancy a walk on the wild side? Our safari tents are just for 2. Perfectly proportioned to provide a luxurious bedroom compartment and a covered seating area, allowing you to make the most of the stunning views of the Banwy valley and then snuggling up in a comfy king sized bed. The safari tents are off grid, but there are hot showers, flushing toilets, shared kitchen area with microwave, fridge, kettle and sink a short distance away, in the newly built convenience block.

Salmon is one of four identical state-of-the-art Isabella Time Out Tents, designed for those who want to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing home comforts. With space to accommodate up to five guests—and room for two more on a pull-out double sofa bed (available at an extra cost)—this is glamping at its finest. Adding to the charm of your stay, friendly alpacas roam the site, delighting guests young and old and adding a little extra magic to your getaway.

Our new pitch for summer 2023! Ideal for families or small groups of friends looking for a private, quiet, glamping experience. The fenced-in area close to the carpark comprises four large bell tents with two private composting toilets, a hot shower and a covered outdoor kitchen-living space. All facilities are for your private use! There is space for four vehicles in the carpark so invite your friends and family for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Welsh hills.

All our high spec bell tents come fully furnished, this includes full luxury bedding, blankets, cushions and a wood burner, all you need to keep you warm & cosy. Each unit has its own charcoal BBQ and a separate single gas burner (all the cooking utensils/cutlery supplied). From the luxury floor mats and rugs to the twinkling fairy lights our tents are designed to provide the perfect luxury break.

Sweeney Farm Glamping - Pump House Lodge

Pump House Lodge is a luxury safari tent and is one of only 3 glamping lodges at Sweeney Farm Glamping. This lodge sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk bed room). It comes complete with fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, living/dining area, log burner, large veranda with outside seating and BBQ. Up to 2 dogs can be welcomed at this lodge. Pump House lodge has shared use of a large field for games/sports and a laundry room.
