Waterfront holiday rentals in Province of Lecco

Stunningly beautiful building and setting on the lakefront surrounded by peaceful green gardens. Lorenzo and team were very responsive and easy to communicate with and even dropped off a bottle of wine when the weather turned bad. Apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you need (iron, hairdryer, kitchen equipment). San Giovanni village is on your doorstep with a cafe and restaurant, Bellagio is a 15minute easy walk away. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was really good. Thank you so much to Francesca and her sister for being so friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get to the apartment by train or ferry. The train station is about 10–15 minutes away on foot, and the ferry is just a couple of minutes away. The apartment is in a very beautiful place. The town is quiet, nice, and comfortable. The apartment itself is cozy and has everything you need for your stay. You can even hear the sound of the waves, which is very relaxing. It’s a great place for a holiday. I really recommend it and would love to come back!

What a fabulous place to stay in Varenna. The view of the lake from the kitchen was a fabulous way to start each day. It's location makes it super easy to get in and out of town too. Silvia was super helpful and responsive. A very gracious host. We would stay there again.

I loved this apartment. It is so easy to get to the water. Easy to walk to the restaurants and bars. You can catch a bus almost outside and the ferry is 5 mins walk away. Stunning area. We are coming back next year !

What a perfect apartment! We absolutely LOVED every minute here. It is truly beautiful and fantastic views of the lake…we didn’t want to leave! Owners were great and very responsive. Luca met us at check-in and could not do enough to help-he was great! Fabulous Italian apartment and I enjoyed reading and listening to surroundings on the balcony. Manuele’s beautiful apartment was a perfect place to stay for our family of five. Manuele sent great instructions ahead of our stay that made check-in very easy, including tips on car-free pathways to the beach and central Bellagio. We loved our stay at Bellagio Love and will absolutely be back!

Spacious apartment that is equipped with all comforts. Convenient that you also have a garage at your disposal. Quietly located and a good base for trips in the area. Supermarket and beach within walking distance. We were very kindly welcomed by Marina, who also answered our questions quickly during our stay. The apartment soon felt like home. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in Lecco and Francesca is an excellent host. We were able to check-in 2 hours before the scheduled check-in time and Francesca was there to meet us and talk us through everything. The house itself is an old property, but it has been extensively renovated to create a modern home with a beautifully designed interior. The location is peaceful (being located right beside the river) but close to the centre of Lecco with it's excellent transport links, restaurants & shops. Thanks again Francesca, for a wonderful experience. We look forward to a return visit soon....

A gem hidden in the trees, by the lake, a haven of peace in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Communication with Antonio and Oscar is excellent, the welcome in person is warm and appreciable. The home, hidden in the trees, is even more beautiful than in the photos, the large floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The terrace, dock and private pier allow you to enjoy the outdoors in a private way. The proximity to a small supermarket is a plus. Mandello del Lario is located rather centrally on the lake, Varenna is twenty minutes away, Bellagio is 45 minutes away. An address we already want to go back to.

We had a fantastic stay at Maurizio's! He was very communicative and shared helpful information in advance of our arrival. He also met us at the house when we arrived to show us how to use the appliances, etc. The house has everything you need (e.g., well-equipped kitchen) and was very comfortable (nice bedding, towels, etc.). The view is even better in person than pictured. We had rain all but one day of our stay and even in the rain it was stunning. If you have nice weather, the property is a short walk to a beach and playground with great views and access to bars/restaurants. We also had a lovely lunch at Il Crotto, which is a short walk away and had excellent gelato at Gelateria Artigianale Al Pontile every day. Highly recommend Maurizio's place for a peaceful and stunning vacation!

This place is in an incredible location and the interior feels authentic to the small lakeside town. The host was very sweet and responsive - highly recommend.

Very convenient place, close to the train station and the ferry station. One of the bathroom was quite small, but the other bathroom was good. Definitely would recommend for the location! Easy check in process.

The place was very nice, clean and exactly as shown on the pictures. Location was convenient and quiet, perfect for a few relaxing days. Check-in went smoothly, and the host was friendly and responsive.

This was a lovely experience for myself and my partner. Our host Giulia was incredibly flexible with allowing us to eat and become familiar with the town before check-in. The place itself is built on an old medieval castle which was quite interesting & unique. It was charming and had everything we needed and some nice touches like a selection of teas & snacks. The breathtaking views had us in awe every day. The beach directly beside us was peaceful and not crowded. The local restaurants each had their own authentic (delicious!) tastes, and the surrounding towns were easy to get to. This ultimately made our stay extremely peaceful yet exciting. We thought it was handy that we could take a quick train ride to Varenna and Bellano so we did not have to adhere to the more limited ferry schedule - were able to catch a breathtaking sunset this way! Overall, we could not recommend this experience more and was the highlight of our 2-week Italy trip.

Walking distance to station, large supermarket, playground and the water. Nice garden and beautiful views nearby and from the upper floor. Parking is tight, but definitely doable. A neighbor complained about it, but Monica was very helpful with this. Extra nice: it was a vacation and very busy in surrounding villages, but this village is quite quiet and very beautiful!

We had such a magical time in Varenna! The views from the windows are out of a storybook!! Andrea was wonderful to communicate with, very thoughtful and always responsive. He gave great recommendations and took care of all of our needs. We had a little spotty Wi-Fi, but he was very attentive to the situation. We could not more highly recommend this place and our only regret is that it went by too quickly and we wish we never had to leave! The beds were comfortable, the views were spectacular, and it was so spacious! We could not have had a better time!

With a week to spend on Lake Como, I wanted somewhere quiet and with personality. Nothing quite measured up until I found Teddy's place. It's on the top two floors with a lot of space and - the clincher - fantastic views of the lake from the sitting room, where I spent a lot of time. There is also a lot of privacy, despite being surrounded by other buildings. I really liked the location in Malgrate, which is walking distance from Lecco. There are several nice shops and restaurants on the road below the property, a good supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and a waterfront promenade that makes a nice running route. Teddie was a friendly and responsive host and was kind enough to drive me and my big bag to and from the station. Would recommend.

The place was very central. The room was super cute ans very clean. We had a great stay and shoukd we come back to Lecco, we would definitely consider to stay here again!

My family and I stayed at Lorenzo's apartment for a good two weeks and we were delighted. The location is wonderful, right on the water, garden use easily possible, a lot can be explored on foot and many beautiful towns are easily accessible by car/ ferry. Communication was impeccable and the apartment very clean. Clear 5 stars 😊

Very nice apartment with a great view ! It is very close to Menaggio and to the lake. The apartment is great for two persons and it had everything we needed during our stay. The host was very reactive and informative about the surroundings. Would recommend !
