Comfortable double room in a typical Tuscan farmhouse. This is our wheelchair accessible room at ground floor features a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. We are in the middle of nature, but at the same time not far from population centers. For a supplement of €8 per person we offer an Italian breakfast with local products, served in summertime on our terrace. We also propose to join unique experiences such as wine tasting, Tuscan dinner+olive oil presentation and pasta cooking classes!

The accommodation is located on a country farm, a 5-minute drive from the center of Volterra. After Porta Diana, take a short stretch of the Municipal road of S. Margherita until you reach a dirt road, the sign Bosco dell'Iris Nero leads you, along a 900-meter path, to the location. Here there are chestnut trees, olive trees, flowers and a pleasant view of the valley. You can meet roe deer, porcupines and wild boars. The cuckoo, the hoopoe, and the woodpecker inhabit the surrounding forest.

The former FS roadman's house is about 60 m from a railway line and we, Marzia and Arturo, live on the ground floor. In our B&B, in the morning with good weather, a good breakfast awaits you outside with bread and homemade jams. The room is furnished with two beds, a possible third bed made from an armchair-bed, a wardrobe, a cabinet with shelves, a desk, television and shoe rack. The room is very bright and the beds can also be arranged individually. I will be there to welcome you at check-in. For arrivals after 9:00 pm, a surcharge will be applied based on the stated time of arrival.
