This 2 bed gite is fully equipped, sleeping 4 + Cot and room for your 4 legged friends too if you wish to bring them! The gîte has it's own private patio overlooking the canal for outside dining with a stone BBQ and sunbeds. The village itself is quite remote, being 30 minutes by car from the nearest grocery shops. Our guests enjoy the tranquility of village life and the beautiful scenery. The cottage has stunning views of the Pyrenees mountain range as well as Carcassonne and its Citadel. A large shaded stone terrace will allow you to enjoy this exceptional setting throughout your stay. From the site, several hiking trails are immediately accessible. Lac des Montagnes is less than a 15-minute drive away.

Gite 10km from Carcassonne in the Montagne Noire

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.

Gîte among the vineyards

This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.
