Welcome to our cosy appartment with a garden in a beautiful Swiss countryside, where lakes and mountains meet. Our region offers many outdoor activities - hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, horse riding, lama walking, SUP paddling, etc. The best Swiss chocolate factory is located in our village. You can have a tour there and enjoy their café and the shop. We recommend to have a car to explore the full beauty of Glarnerland and Heidiland regions. One parking place is free on our premises.

Cozy 2-room apartment near Zurich

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

Lichtensteig train station

A special place for holidays or weekends. A newly renovated apartment 35 square meters directly above the regionally and nationally known “Chössi” small theater. During the theater season (from September to June), there is usually a lively cultural operation with dance/theater/music or comedy on Saturdays. And this in the middle of beautiful Toggenburg, 100 meters from Lichtensteig train station. Starting point in summer and winter for Churfirsten, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich.

Haus Büelenhof - Farm holidays

The beautiful lodging is combined with an older farmhouse, which is located more remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquillity, as a leisure activity there are many places of interest and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer - King of the Pre-Alps. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Constance.

Together with the regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich, the excursion possibilities within an hour's drive are almost endless. The village center can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
