Our "cottage" is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbours and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! Our holiday home was built in 2020 and offers 67m² of space for 4 people. There is also an approx. 30m² games storage area, which offers many options, especially on rainy days. The house and outdoor area are child-friendly and comfortably furnished. The location is a good starting point for trips to the regions: Maifeld, Moselle and Eifel. Families, hikers and bikers are sure to get their money's worth.

As a friend said: this is a Rosamunde Pilcher dream... :) The Gingerbread Guesthouse is a 350-year-old half-timbered house in the picturesque town of Bacharach. In the 100 sqm apartment you should immediately feel at home and enjoy the incredible views of the famous Malerwinkel, the city wall with the Liebesturm and Stahleck Castle. There is plenty of space for children to play, as well as a swing, a baby swing, a sandbox, and a seesaw. The beautiful surroundings are perfect for hiking and excursions to the nearby Moselle River.
