Art Studio - Rustic Cottage near Imperial Beach

Great location! Very close to the beach and great restaurants in IB. Check out Novo Brazil Brewing and Brigantine Seafood and Oyster Bar. I rented an Ebike at a location close to the cottage and rode up the strand to Coronado! There are a lot of places to lock up the bike and explore the area on foot! Balboa Park is a short 15 min drive, 22 min to Sea World and 30 min to La Jolla. You can truly relax when you return to this rustic cottage. It's so peaceful. I appreciated how this host thought of everything a person would need to enjoy their vacation! (too many to list!)The boogie boards and beach chairs came in very handy. This place is well stocked. If you came with only the clothes on your back you would be fine. It was clean, comfortable, and adorable! I traveled by myself and felt very safe. I loved that there was Netflix too! If you are planning on coming to San Diego with your family or by yourself this is your place! The Host is very responsive and easy to contact.

This place is absolutely stunning and astonishing. There are a handful of little touches that make it fantastic (a little pouch with a sleep mask, facial mask, etc.). The views, the art, and the interior design are all stunning and the place is incredibly relaxing and quiet. Highly recommend it for a getaway. It’s a very quick drive to two great taco spots and Walmart, there’s plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook with and it’s a fun time. The only two notes I’ll add are that there are only three queen beds and one couch (the listing said there were more beds when I booked) and that the showers are absolutely gorgeous but do run out of *piping* hot water rather quickly. The water continues to be lukewarm but just not steaming hot.

¡Toda una experiencia! Si estás buscando una escapada tranquila y amena con tu pareja, este es el lugar indicado. Desde que miramos las fotografías sabíamos que era el lugar ideal, pero al llegar nos dimos cuenta de que estás no le hacen justicia a nuestra estancia en Puerto Nuevo. Leanne fue muy amable, contestaba rápido y siempre estuvo disponible para nosotros. Sin duda volveremos, la tranquilidad del lugar, la atención al detalle y la vibra que emana es impecable. 100% recomendado.

Gabriela's place was conveniently located to a nearby shopping center. We felt safe and secure there and enjoyed all of the personal touches in the flat. The place was clean and had all the amenities one could possibly need. Gabriela was the perfect host, totally went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure all of our needs were met. She is very friendly, helpful and was quick and efficient with communication.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!! I can’t recommend this property enough. What a fabulous experience staying at Casa de Leones was. Such a spacious home with a gorgeous view I truly felt like I escaped from the world and was in my own little paradise. It was just so safe, comfortable and truly a gem of an oasis. If you’re staying in Mexico you really have to stop here. It’s a killer deal for what you’re getting. 10000/5 stars. Everything about this place made me so happy.

Casa Romantic beautiful , amazing

Pros: Clean linens, everything needed to cook a meal, close to the border, and as close as a house can get to the ocean waves. It’s a good house for adults to party. I was able to catch a shark from the roof in front of the deck. Cons: top deck does not have safety railing to keep people, kids, or animals from falling 60’ to the rocks below. The house is right next to neighboring houses, with nothing stopping them from walking into the house. The beach access is far away, and the stairs going down are dangerous, and require jumping about 4’ over a drainage ditch due to a broken bridge. The beach is full of trash. The trash can was over flowing, trash everywhere, and about six dead seagulls. Nearby fishermen use ravage the muscles off of the rocks for chum and use nets to harvest most of the fish.
