Beautiful forest landscape from the living room. WiFi available. Distance to the center of Rovaniemi by car 10 min (4 km), nearest bus stops 0.2 km and 0.5 km away. The nearest store by car 3min (0.7km) to the winter hiking trail and the Ounasvaara ski slope 0.5km. Skating rink next door. Santaparkki is a 15-minute drive (10 km) and the airport is a 20-minute drive (12 km).

Written originally in english. Sandhill Cottage is a compact house close to the train and bus-stations. This cozy getaway is perfect for example Onnibus and Santa´s Express travellers. From the Airport you can get a shuttle-bus to the train station or have a 15-minute taxi drive to enjoy your stay. Our home has the utilities for 6 people to relax, cook and get warm after a full day of snow fun! We live in the other building on the same ground and are ready to help and welcome you with our husky!

Due to irregular road maintenance and unpredictable weather, a 4x4 car is highly recommended. We offer transport service if needed.

There is extra space in the basement for playing including gym equipment. Kids can use sledges and feel the snowy winter in the yard. You have everything you need like towels, bedding, sledges..

A beautiful area only a 15 min drive from the city centre. Our cozy villa (280m2) is a unique place to spend a holiday near the city, yet in a very peaceful environment, surrounded by the wild nature. You can sit by the bonfire. Whenever the Aurora Borealis appear on the sky, it is easy to see them, because there is no artificial light other than the lights of the our villa. (much better than city centre) I also offer a real Santa Claus visit to my Villa for a small additional fee.
