The place on the waterfront promenade is wonderful. Very nice long balcony in the sun. We were there in february. Don‘t know about summer, but in winter it‘s very quiet, which was perfect for us!

The place is really beautiful, the sunsets are magical from the balcony! A dream location, cleanliness and equipment at the top!

Pavel's place was much bigger than expected. Not only the two berooms, but also the bathroom and the kitchen/living room area are very spacious. The furniture is nothing fancy, but everything was in perfect shape, also the beds. There were even some toys for the kids - a perfect place for families! The only thing we missed was the tea towels in the kitchen, which made it hard to do the washing up. The location is beautiful, literally next to the lake. There is a restaurant in the basement which may cause some noise during the summer months. It was closed when we were there (November).

A wonderfully cosy home in a beautiful area with the most amazingly hospitable host. Best Airbnb we have ever had and we can definitely recommend it to anyone.

David is a very friendly, open person who takes great care of his guests and likes to be in touch. His house is small but nice and there is only beautiful mountain scenery around it. Also close to Locarno and Ascona, or to Lake Maggiore. On foot, by bus or by car. Highly recommended!!

At Eva & Fabio, unsurpassed hospitality, openness and warmth awaited us! We felt at home. Excellent location (1A lake view), equipment (everything new, underfloor heating, fireplace, parking, kitchen with sandwich grill, juicer, coffee machine), super cozy (oven, firewood, very nicely decorated). The two are the warmest hosts: from a welcome with ciabatta and red wine, tips for your stay to talks about God and the world. The north-east side of the LM is also ideal for cycling in winter: the Centovalli, the Valle Cannobina, the Monte Morissolo and the Val Grande are only examples of a variety of excellent routes. We had bright sunshine on 4 of 6 days and not even rain. The passes were freely passable; there was some snow in the front yards; didn't affect us.

Eva’s place was lovely! It was quiet, clean, and very close to good restaurants and cafes near the water. What made our stay extra special though, were the added touches Eva supplied us with: eggs, cheese, fresh bread and a bottle of wine! It was so delightful to be able to make a quick breakfast before we checked out. Highly recommend!

Eva Maria's place was great. It has a beautiful view of the lake and each morning you were rewarded with a very amazing sunrise. Eva Maria was very friendly and accomodating and greeted me at my car when I first arrived. She was extremely hospitable and went above and beyond to make my stay feel welcoming. My stay with Eva Maria and her husband Fabio was just great! The two are so wonderful hosts: warm, open-minded and very attentive. For my physical well-being was also very well taken care of, because the fridge was already filled to my arrival well. The Hosts were just as they were described in past reviews. Very thoughtful and nice. On our arrival they welcomed us with a Tour of the apartment and then A glas wine. And they also gave as some good tips, where to go and eat etc. They place is quite, but if you can listen to music all night long, you are not going to disturb any one. They apartment is also very close to Italy, so you can skip over and get some Italian ice cream or more.

Adorable area, beautiful home, awesome view, and fantastic host. She greeted us in the drive way and put out a bottle of red wine and 2 glasses in the apartment. The apartment was stylish and modern with all the amenities. She also had great local recommendations and spoke English fluently.

Luca’s Rustico named ‘Piccolo Nido’ is perfect for short or longer stays at the Lago Maggiore. Luca speaks English, which is very convenient for (Swiss) people like me that can hardly say much more than “Ciao” in the Italian language. 😉 The house is located in a quiet are of Brissago, about a 20-minute walk uphill from the lake. So it’s best if you have a car to get around. We did manage without a car, since we don’t mind walking and it’s actually possible to start hikes right after stepping out the door. There are many hiking trails in the area. Go ahead and book your stay at Piccolo Nido! You won’t regret it! 😊

Luca is a great host and we have had a great time in Little Nest. Brissago and its surrounding is very nice to walk around; great for hikes through thousands old chestnut trees. Also, the best tasting water ever is available directly from the taps! Fully recommended!

Super little house, with a fireplace uh cozy and was a great place to stay if you were traveling as much as we were. In the evening in front of the fireplace it was very romantic!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Very quick response. Ronco is such a nice place to visit and it is possible to capture an amazing view by walking just 50-100m from this Airbnb place. Thre are several nice restaurants around. If someone is traveling by public transport, bus line 314 is the closest. However, after 8:30 pm there are no buses. So, the taxi costs 50 CHf from Locarno station to the AirBnb place.

Lovely stay at Flavia and Lauro’s, they were great hosts and the house is very cute. The village is lovely and has a great view. It is possible to park for free 5 minutes away from the place.

The stay in the apartment we enjoyed very much as a family with two small children. We were greeted warmly and surprised with a welcome basket - the first dinner was secured - no shopping, fine cooking and enjoy the magnificent view. The apartment is spacious, very clean and comfortable, well equipped and despite the size of the condominium quiet. The use of the pool is a noteworthy extra.

Beautiful setting for a solitary respite or quiet romantic get-away to lovely Lake Maggiore. Traditional stone cottage made our first visit to Italia-Brissago memorable! We enjoyed well-tended floral gardens, a relaxing evening stroll into lakeside town via nearby steps, light from full moon peering through windows, and observing the many changes of Lake Maggiore. Hildegard welcomed us and helped make our time special.

The small Rustico of Hildegard is located just above the village and is the perfect starting point to explore the Ticino. You could also spend your time only on the beautiful property with all its small corners ... at the barbecue area, on the sun meadow or behind the rustico in the sitting area. When the weather was fine, we simply placed our garden furniture in front of the upper door and enjoyed our home-cooked dinner with a view of the lake. Cook yourself is no problem, because the equipment in the kitchen really lacks nothing and if something is missing, Hildegard is immediately on the spot. She is a warm and open-minded host who makes you feel absolutely welcome. We would come again and again. PS: Since the prices in Switzerland were not really in our budget, we went to shopping and eating just went over to Italy (to Cannobio). Very nice little place, which logically does not appear in the guide over the Ticino, as it belongs to the Piedmont.

We spent three wonderful days in the Rustico and the bloody Hildegard garden. The accommodation is small but nice, simply but very lovingly and appropriately furnished. In the kitchen it has everything to cook something, especially good kitchen knives! It was very clean, the bed was nicely decorated and had good bath towels. From the garden and from the upper room you have a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. Next to the house there is a green area to lie down and a small patio with a fire bowl. The Rustico is easily accessible by public transport. Hildegard is a wonderful hostess, we would stay with her again anytime.

erich's apartment is a dream! the view, the equipment, the ambience ... you don't have to do many words: everything is perfect! we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Everything - and much more - that you need is available in the apartment. it is clean and furnished with style and loving care. if you arrive without a car, you have to pay attention to the bus schedule, but that is also not a problem. and if you miss the bus, just walk to ascona. you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the lake.

The best location (everything you need in easy walking distance plus a great parking option for just 9€/24 hours) possible in Locarno for a super attractive price. For sure there are always person who find something to complaint BUT if your priorities are location and a bargain price this is really an amazing offer.

The structure is not very recent, but nothing is missing in the room. It is comfortable and well kept. The entrance coincides with the entrance of the hotel (it is not specified): if you follow street number 1 of the street indicated as the address, you will reach a door whose access is allowed only to customers with the key and at night time. Recommended.

The studio is very cozy and its view is beautiful. We had everything we needed in the studio, even cooking was perfectly doable. We had a super smooth check-in (even we arrived very late) and the same accounts for the check-out. Katrin was very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again!

The studio is very small, but has everything you need for a short stay. It was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable. At night it has hardly cooled due to the warm temperatures, which is why we had to open the windows and were visited by some mosquitoes :) a climate or a venti would be a great addition. Small but very practical furnished studio. The small kitchen has everything you need. The barbecue in the garden perfect. Kathrin is an uncomplicated hostess, everything went well. We also got some tips about the region. I can only recommend the address!

I stayed for 3 days and the host was very helpful and the stay was clean and the location is in a quiet area and I hope that my first and last visit will not be.

The view from the balcony over the Lago Maggiore is just great. Balcony is a good size and sheltered from the wind. The rest was perfect for a few days rest. The apartment is spacious and very clean. We were able to crawl our 6 month old daughter around without any problems. A car was an advantage, as the place is very small, but a good starting point for things to do in the area. A coffee machine is not in the apartment (whining at a high level) We will be back!

Absolute TOPP HOSPITALITY! Marilen gives quick and detailed information before the arrival, is knowledgeable about the area, knows the markets and special features of the region. A very friendly person, we enjoyed the contact, so it is uncomplicated! The accommodation was simply perfect: a bijoux as in the pictures. Rustic style with perfect views of Lake Maggiore, the view from the sofa into the open is pure relaxation. A rainy day can be enjoyed with a book. The equipment is great. The walk from the village to the apartment was our daily fitness, even without a car well feasible, on the sidewalks of the road or a bit more idyllic via stone steps. Highly recommended!

After a steep ascent (1km by bike) we were warmly welcomed by Marilen. The studio has as described a magnificent view over the lake towards Ascona and Italy. The decor is stylish and there was nothing missing! A perfect idyll for a few relaxing days.

The studio of Marilen was a fantastic choice to spend the week in Ticino. We enjoyed wonderful sunrises (and also saw red clouds of sunset) with a great view over the Lago Maggiore. It was totally worth to walk up the stairs (we came by public transport) every day. The apartment was clean and nice looking, the kitchen pretty well equipped with everything you need (Nespresso machine with capsules, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices and even pasta with sauce in case of need). We loved to cook and bake bread here. :-)

The location of the apartment is very central for trips to the surrounding valleys and cities. Fredy was on our own for a few days during our stay. So we had the opportunity to meet an open-minded person, who is always available for his guests. We can only recommend this property.

The apartment of Fred is really a pearl on Lake Maggiore. Not only that the apartment is furnished in a modern way and offers a sensational panorama. She also has a very dedicated host, who takes excellent care of his guests (in our case also from afar). We had very nice days in Fred's apartment!

Beautiful place with a gigantic view of Lake Maggiore. Thanks to super sunny weather in the old year week, we were able to enjoy breakfast at the outside seat and thus benefit from the beautiful turnaround at Casa Paterna. The apartment in the old rustico is simple, the bedrooms are stylish, the kitchen has everything you need.

The contact with Julia is very warm. The accommodation is homely and in Nov./Dec. well heated with stove (wood) and two radiators. So even in the cold months warm and comfortable. I found the apartment clean, functional and cozy, as described. All technical devices worked perfectly. To get to the apartment and to move around in the garden you should bring sure-footedness. The house, the apartment, the garden breathe magical atmosphere and at the same time, the view enjoys the magic of the lake and mountains. A place where you come to your senses in a memorable, restrained tension to the irritated senses. Pure increased feeling of life. I'll be back.

The apartment of Julia is a real insider tip! We felt like in paradise and enjoyed the wonderful garden in summer temperatures to the fullest. The hostess is extremely welcoming and helpful, as well as a simple and fast communication with the video for the way down the 70 steps. Even with e-bikes were all excursions well feasible. The apartment is cuddly, simple, but it has everything it needs. We will be back!

The view is a dream. You have to carry the luggage a bit down the stairs, but it's worth it for the super pretty place. The apartment has charm and is spacious, everything available what you need. A small oasis where you can stay. Especially worth mentioning is the great communication with Julia.

Absolutely own shower gel etc, hair dryer etc take along. Was our 1st visit Airbnb. It was a great experience for us. The key safe was at the side of the garages. Unfortunately, this was not written anywhere and we did not know how to get into the apartment. Luckily someone came and showed us the key situation. After that, everything went great,

You can cook yourself a little and even eat on the balcony. The location is great - about 10 min walk to the center and to the beaches. Suitable for couples and families. Top Value! The accomodation was great and Betti very helpful and friendly! A little insider tip in a haunted village. The journey is really not bad, in 10 minutes you have the switchbacks behind and a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore. The apartment was clean and fully equipped including detergents, spices and oils.

I spent six days at Betti with my 9-year-old daughter, Sofia. It was a wonderful holiday: Betti is a very kind hostess, hospitable and very precise in communication. The apartment is very nice, equipped with everything you need, perfect for two people. Bassano, then, was a surprise! A village of a few houses 10 '/ 15' drive above Lake Maggiore, very close to the pass with the Switzerland of Zenna. It 'a very quiet village with beautiful views of the lake, inhabited by people available and kind, who have provided us with many useful information on different points of interest. Bassano is a strategic starting point, from which it is possible to reach Locarno, Lugano, Bellinzona, Val Verzasca, Vallemaggia, the Carasc tibetan bridge, without counting the whole Italian part of the lake, from the beaches to the different ferry departure points. I do not like to holiday in places I've already been, but in this case I think we'll make an exception: the area offers so much, the people have remained in the heart and the Betti apartment is the ideal holiday home. Highly recommended!

Accommodation in a great location! Friendly reception. Expensive for Italian standards but perhaps average for Swiss ones! However recommended!

Beautiful apartment, more spacious than it looks, with a nice balcony and breathtaking views of the lake. At four (two adults and two children) plus one dog, we did not feel cramped. The kitchen is very well equipped. The situation is very quiet, especially in the low season (we were there in April). The indoor pool, large and heated (31 ° when we were there) is a real plus, the kids loved it. The formalities at the agency were very simple and fast. Only downside, the cost of bedding: 25 francs per person, so 100 francs for a family of four is too much.
