Thank you k family for the good and warm welcome like family. The room is very clean. And there is a transfer service from the accommodation to aoto station if I go back to Tokyo again. I will definitely go back to stay here again. ❤️❤️

If you’re thinking of staying at any of the K family’s places, I highly recommend. I had one of the greatest Airbnb experiences here. It was a lovely space, great area and amazing hospitality. We were provided with great amenities and you can really tell how the K family take great pride in their property and homes. I will most definitely be staying at this Airbnb again if I come to visit Japan again.

Such a beautiful apartment and thoughtful hospitality. We loved our stay and will be coming back! The apartment is as nice as the pictures and very close to transportation, very charming neighborhood.

We were at home, the K family was always aware of us, Mr. T recommended us how to get to the places and where to go. They have been very very kind. With respect to the house, it is a third floor, without elevator, but the stairs are not a problem. The apartment was very clean and every day we were left with clean towels. We have been very comfortable three people, we have not lacked anything. It is 10 min from the subway station that leaves you in the center of Tokyo in a very short time. The house is surrounded by many Kombinis and shops. We are going to have missed it. To repeat without a doubt!

The host was very enthusiastic and Mr. T was very friendly. He helped pick up and drop off luggage. Although the location of the house is a little bit small, the subway station is next to it. There are many restaurants and drugstores on the way to the subway station. Drugstores are much cheaper than outside! The house is very clean, and there are still people to help clean and change towels every day, great!

Amazing place, amazing food recommendations (best we had in all of Tokyo and the cheapest at that), free bottle of apple juice when we checked in, picked us up and dropped us at the train station with their spacious van, and were also so very very friendly! It's super comfortable!

The Pine House is a cozy stay with a great location. Close enough to main Tokyo but far enough that you’re sleeping peacefully - very easy access to public transport. The owners are very lovely and accommodating and the train station transfer with our bags were much appreciated. The pocket wifi was also a great help - we recommend bringing a portable charger to charge it if you’re doing a big day trip so you can use it to help you find your way home! All in all, my two friends and I had a fantastic stay here and recommend the Pine House to anyone wanting to see what Japan has to offer! Thanks again K and N!

The landlords are all wonderful. First of all, the house is very clean and comfortable, and the things are particularly complete. There is even mobile WIFI. Secondly, the house is large and clean, with cleaning staff replacing the kitchen trash cans every day. In the end, the landlord's family responded to the message in a timely manner and were very enthusiastic about the people. They didn't say anything about the delivery of juice. They confirmed our schedule when they first met, and they drove us to the station early on the day of departure. I have also stayed in many homestays many times in Japan. This is by far my most satisfied and favorite. If it is a family, the cost performance is simply super high.

Absolutely Fabulous! Far beyond expectations and if AirBnB ever have a grade higher than SuperHost, it should be with K&N. I will highly recommend K&N’s apartment. They told me there are seven, we stayed in Pine and they take such good care of the hospitality, quality and happiness of their guests. Mobile WiFi device is super useful and it’s literally only 5mins from Tateishi Station, shops and some great local restaurants. We will definitely be booking here for all our future trips to Tokyo!!

K & N's place was great for our family of 4. It was close to Sky Tree and has awesome supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's just 5 mins walk to Tateishi station but far enough away not the hear the warning bells from the crossing when trains approach. We did find that many of our trains trips to see the attractions we wanted to go to took us the the western side of Toyko, so with four people the train fares were around 4,000 yen per day which you should factor in. Cannot fault the house itself though. Perfect hosts and a really nice property.

Mr T is very kind to bring a bottle of apple juice as a welcome gift and has offered to drive us to the nearest station upon departure

The location is great! Everything nearby! The room feels like home, with everything you need! The two stayed just fine and would be very satisfied. It will be a little crowded if you go over, and your luggage will not be easy to open.

After a long flight and train ride, this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our first evening in Tokyo! It was clean, bright, very welcoming, and easy to find. I wish we could've stayed longer than one day, but we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Japan!

The place was in a good location, just a short train ride from Shinjuku. Smaller than the photos show but a wonderful place to stay!

Although the house is a bit old, it is clean. The landlord responded very promptly. Check in experience was good. Usually the price is very reasonable, the Spring Festival price is a bit expensive.

Masami's place was sparkling clean and easy to access. It's close proximity transit, food, and shopping made it a great place to stay for our trip. Highly recommend this place to any other people traveling here!

This was a great experience, we have never stayed in a shared space like this before. Keiko and Kako are so friendly and helpful, it was really wonderful having locals to talk to and to be in a house. The neighborhood was great and we had easy access to the subway to get all over Tokyo.

Kako and Keiko's house is very special, and they are very special hosts themselves. Their hospitality is outstanding. I can only wish them the guests that they deserve!

Fabulous location close to Yoyogi. The house is beautiful. But the most enjoyable part of the stay is the hospitality of Kako and Keiko. I have been traveling to japan for 30 years but really enjoyed discovering the family. Very good English speakers and helpful. Really a great place to stay!

Kako & Keiko’s home is lovely, and so are they as hosts. Their place is much bigger than the usual Tokyo home, offering beautiful light with a perfect guest room for our privacy when we needed it. Everything was convenient to walk to, from the 7-Eleven’s for last-minute necessities, charming bars and restaurants, to main train lines which helped us cover a lot of the city in a short amount of time. Keiko also cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning to fuel us for our adventures each day. Best yet, they’re upgrading their home, making it even better for future guests. I can’t wait to come back.

The house is clean, the location is good, very close to Shinjuku, the transportation is convenient, although the three floors are not big, but the living is very comfortable, suitable for family travel.

Kaori is super responsive and her home is very spacious and clean. It is perfect for large families since you all have your own space . The location is convenient to the subway too.

This is a very pleasant experience by staying in Kaori san’s apartment, which is comfortably clean, multifunctional, and spacious equipped with lots of appliances necessary for a modern and convenient life. The apartment is located in a quiet and decent neighborhood surrounded with restaurants, cafe, and convenience stores. The opera city is 5 minutes walk housing some excellent performances. And most importantly, the super host, kaori san is welcoming, hospitable, and patient. She responded to any of my requests since booking is completed. She also sent me lots of information needed for traveling in Tokyo. She also has a cleaning staff to help clean the kitchen every day. I am sure to return once the chances available. Great place, Great host!

It is a very beautiful room. The route is explained carefully and it is very easy to understand.

Masami's place is located in peacefully area near Shinjuku, perfect to take a rest for all day long stroll. Only few minutes from nearby subway to Shinjuku. It takes about 400 m from Hatagaya station to apartment but there are many restaurants and stores on along the way so you can enjoy shopping and hang out around. Masami's room was very comfy, cozy, sparking clean with aromatic scent! The first impression was greeting card attached on the door, that was so cute. She provided the appliances guidebooks so it was easy to use those Japanese labeled devices.

Very close to Hatagaya station for easy access to Shibuya Crossing, clean and cute little room.

It's a super nice place! Tucked away in a neighborhood so it's quiet, but still close enough to main streets and subways that you can get around to where you need to easily. It was nice and clean and great for our short trip. :D

Perfecty located within distance from subway. Tucked away in a quiet street yet within minutes to main road and convenience shops. Good value for the money, Masami is very helpful.

Small, cozy space enough for solo traveller or 2 people (might be a bit tight if you have a lot of luggage). Location is superb, very near to Shinjuku, and there is a bus to Shibuya nearby the house. Masami is a very nice and responsive host. The place is very clean. Overall a very good experience.

This was an excellent apartment in Tokyo. It is in a very well-connected location, a couple of stops from Shinjuku and all the main places one would want to visit in the city (the train station is very close and you can get to most places pretty fast), and plenty of local food, shopping and coffee shops if you want to relax around Hatagaya some days during your trip. The flat itself is really clean, has a working desk, good wifi, a comfy bed, and Masami is a super responsive and helpful host if you need anything. I was very happy with the apartment as a single traveller and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in the city!

Kei's place is exactly as described. It's small but cute and comfortable. It won't work if you have large amounts of luggage, but it's great otherwise. The neighborhood is quiet. Kei is available if you need anything - he helped me translate my dietary restrictions so I could show waiters what I can't eat. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good landlord, very good room.

It is very close to the high horse station of Yamate, and the traffic is very convenient. The surrounding facilities are fairly complete. Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are relatively close, Akihabara and Minato-ku will be a little further away.

Although the hostel is a little narrow !! It's close to station and Wi-Fi is good! If you only have conversation in English, it is a really good non-hostel ~!

First time using AirBnB, and was a succes! - close to a train station so you can travel easy all over Tokyo. - have privacy - You can cook (the stove didnt work, Informed Kei and within 30 min someone came and fixed it in couple of min) - there is couple of stores near the appartment (one is even a minute from appartment). The bad notes - there was only one toilet rol(was 50% used), had to buy my own. - The appartment is next to the garbage. almost every morning (around 8/9 AM) it wil get sorted (that made some noice), and picked up.

Masami is a great host; easy to communication with. Place is exactly as it is described. It’s tucked in a quiet street; you’ll get a good nights rest. It was clean and conveniently located 5-7 min walk to the train station.

Masami’s place is lovely and very visitor friendly, with instructions in English everywhere (AC, laundry, garbage). It’s in the local Hatagaya neighborhood, which feels very charming and safe. The station is a 5 min walk and there’s many stores and restaurants nearby.

We loved staying in this apartment, it was very clean and super close to Hatagaya Station which made travelling around Tokyo very easy. Loved the note on the doors and the lovely snacks left for us. Masami was always super prompt in responding to messages and keeping us in the loop with everything. Highly recommend this apartment when you come to Tokyo.

Masami's place was excellent for Tokyo standards, perfect for two adults travelling. The location was super convenient meaning more time was spent enjoying the city rather than just travelling on the trains. The location is superb, the whole family is downstairs, opposite 711, and very close to Okubo Station. The lady at the front desk speaks Chinese, there is no problem in communication, and the service is very attentive. The only disadvantage may be that the sound insulation is not very good ~ It is a bit close to the road, and sound can be heard at night ~

It is very very easy to find ! Close to okubo , shinokubo and shinjuku station. You can take a Subway but you can also just walk to shinjuku area ! I used the room just for myself but if you are two people it's perfect!! The bed is big enough ;) I highly recommend this accomodation.

Check in and check out was extremely fast and easy. Directions to/from airport were super helpful. Folks working the front desk offered superb service and spoke fantastic English. Location is literally down the street from the Higashi-Shinjuku subway station which made it convenient to get around town.

Love it, this place is good. The staff attends to your needs, they are really nice to chat with. Given that there are so many listing to choose, david's place is pretty much better as the building is clean, looks new to me, easy to access and quiet.

We had a great stay at David's, I recommend his place/hotel without hesitation ! :) David, as well as the rest of the staff, were quick and clear in the communications and also super careful of our needs. We had a problem with the bathroom and they immediately moved us into another room. Bed was super comfy and there was everything we needed to do some light cooking (breakfast, ramens, etc.). Only suggestion of improvement would be to add some kind of a small table in the room, because as it is now, we only had the bed to eat. Otherwise, everything was perfect, thanks again :)

We stayed here for a couple of days and were really happy to find that the local area is super charming with a park not too far and a sweet street worth a stroll. It was our first time in Tokyo, but with the superb commute system we had no difficult in getting from area to area to explore. However, it is also worth a day to explore the area close to this place. The apartment is nice, in a calm area and has what you need for a home outside home. Easy to find when following the descriptions provided by the host. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. A little off the city but is quite cozy. No lift so those who have heavy luggages, it would be quote a challenge going up and down the room. The travel to the metro stations were a little further especially those who aren't used to walking. But all in all, it was a great place! Complete with cookware and utensils as well as laundry detergent. Would definitely recommend this!

Nick’s stay offers a 10 minute walk from what I’d like to call “downtown Shinjuku.” The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend Nick’s stay if you are looking for a place.

Location is right is the heart of Kabukicho, and the room was very clean.

Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was! The location is absolutely amazing, in the center of a vibrant Shinjuku and close to metro station. Greatly recommend if you are on a budget but still want the comfort of having your own private room and bathroom. Just know that there is no wifi, which wasn’t an issue for me with my sim card. Also, it was the first (and only) toilet in Japan that I saw without a bidet. I must admit I was a little disappointed after getting used to that luxury for two weeks but no big deal, ahah!

Good economic value in a STELLAR location in the middle of Shinjuku. Surrounded by by lots of restaurants and other attractions that made this trip so efficient in terms of what we could cover in our time there. I’m a bigger-framed guy on his first trip to Japan so I had to adjust to the small shower/tub but nothing I couldn’t overcome. Might want to set a towel on the floor next to the tub!

It is especially easy to find in Kabukicho, and is very close to Shinjuku East Station. There are various restaurants downstairs that are full of happiness for the food, the staff is particularly warm, the accommodation is clean, and there is a small The bathtub is very soundproof and the bed is particularly comfortable.

They were great for our first night in japan. A bit loud outside. Wouldn't recommend for children.

Would highly recommend! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and could comfortably be in the space with our 2 large suitcases. Room was very clean and all facilities were new and easy to use. We were provided a guidebook prior to arrival and all information, including checkin instructions, were very clear and helpful. Location was great, lots to see and do in the area. Subway across the street, or a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku station. Would stay here again if we return someday. Thanks again!

The apartment is in a great location! It’s quite small but is expected in Tokyo. The WiFi, on all floors, is a bit slow and doesn’t work very well but it was usable. It was clean and easy to check in! Would stay again.

The location of this place was perfect! You are close enough to walk to the nightlife of Shinjuku while being far enough away from the noise and the lights. It’s right around the corner from the metro station, which is extremely easy to use. Just hop on and go wherever you need to in the city! The WiFi puck is a great touch, I wish more Airbnb’s would do that. The place is cute, small but stylish. Exactly what I would expect in Tokyo. We arrived early in the city and Casey let us drop off our bags at the apartment prior to check-in so we could start to explore the city. We showed up when the cleaning crew was there, and they were the sweetest women! Would definitely stay here again!

Ninja House is in a perfect location to trains and to walk to beautiful areas of Tokyo. Shin had great communication with us before and throughout our stay. Ninja house is small but definitely a unique stay!

The Ninja House was a great place to make home base during our short stay in Tokyo. The location was incredibly convenient for commuting into other parts of the city and in a great neighborhood. Shin was an outstanding host who was quick to reply to any questions we may have had. We would definitely visit again.

Shin’s 4 level ninja house is one of a kind. It’s really fun climbing up all the stairs, the roof top is an amazing place to hang out. Shin was super helpful and a really lovely host. The location is in a quiet area in Tokyo, with bars, bakeries and restaurants just a short walk away. Super easy to get by with buses and trains near to the house.

We loved our stay at the Ninja house! Was certainly a different experience but well worth it. Shin was a fantastic host!

Kei’s place is in a great location only 7 minutes away from Takadanobaba station. Although the space is small (usual for Tokyo) it was a great base for a few days. However, keep in mind it is on the 3rd floor, so be prepared for taking your luggage up and down the stairs. Another con was the coldness in the apartment at night. I don’t really like leaving the aircon on all night and there were no extra blankets around.

The room is on the third floor, there is no elevator, it is not very convenient to get luggage, and the whole is very close to the subway. The sheets were a bit pilling and not very comfortable. Overall good!

Kei is very responsive and about his business! I recommend his flat. Loved the neighborhood, youthful and very dynamic. Many restaurant choices around the building. Bars go till 8am!! 😎

Go’s place is in a great location central to Skinjuku attractions. The place is small but we managed with 2 people. Very good for the budget.

The place is near to the shinjuku-sanchome station and walking distance to donki kabuchiko The place is small we are two people but we managed to fit in with 3 luggage And also there’s no elevator you have to carry your luggage. There’s a 7/11, family mart, drugstore and cafe near the place.

Transportation is very convince，clean and quite ，but the room is too small for two person.

It’s a simple yet really cozy place. Bedding is very comfortable, shower is warm and the apartment is nicely cleaned up. The host sent precise information prior to my arrival, assuring I would find the place easily. I really liked that the check-in and check-out does not need any interaction with the host, making the stay comfortable and practical.

Go's apartment is at an amazing location. The metro station is literally around the corner and even shinjuku station is only a 15min walk. It's very clean, but small. It's fine for one person though. Go is very fast with responding and looks after you. Very recommendable to explore Tokyo

Expect a newish place. Walking distance to eatery around, not so close to Shinjuku if you want to walk.. better to grab a train.

This place is very convenient and is near the Higashi Shinjuku Metro station. Just make sure you exit from B1. Cozy place and easy to get to everywhere. Definitely recommended.

This place was great for how we used it. It is a 15 min walk from central Shinjuku and is a few min from Higashi-Shinjuku station. The people working at the front desk were very helpful as well. One thing to note is that the rooms are very small and could be claustrophobic at times.

The house is really good beyond my imagination. The spacious and bright surroundings are also very good and very quiet. There are several convenience stores within a few meters of the house. The distance from the subway station is also very suitable.

It is very beautiful and easy to spend. There is no elevator, so climb the stairs to the 5th floor. There are no fine amenities such as toothbrushes, so I think you should bring your own.

The room was very clean as other guests also commented. All instructions for checking in, using house appearances and access from stations are very clear and helpful. Also, she responded to my emails very quickly all the time. I felt so secured while I stayed at her place.

Great place very close to Takadanobaba train station which is very handy as it is along the JR Yamanote Line and stops away from popular locations in Tokyo such as Harajuku and Shibuya.

Excellent place to stay for people wanting to see Tokyo for a few days, especially those using a JR pass as the nearest station (Takadanobaba) is a stop on the Yamanote JR line which takes you all around the city. Excellent host with very quick and helpful responses, we had a great stay.

Very cost-effective homestay. The room is large and clean, especially the location is very convenient. There are many convenience stores around Takadanobaba Station. There are only two stops from Shinjuku.

You can walk to the nearby subway jr station, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro for ten minutes to buy on this line. very convenient. The room was a bit small, but it was clean, and the landlord prepared everything, including a refrigerator and microwave. Can accommodate three people but will be a bit crowded.

The space hosted by Frances and BIG House was exactly what I expected and needed; a small, clean, quiet sanctuary from the energy of Shinjuku. The space is ideally situated between several JR lines, as well as in close proximity to an awesome Soul / Funk bar (Stone!) I would highly recommend this place for a single traveler looking to explore.

The hotel is located near Okubo Station, one stop away from Shinjuku Station, and convenient to Shinjuku. The room was neat and clean, and it was just fine to live alone

I was only here for one night but it was an affordable room in a pretty popular area. It was about a 12 minute walk from Shinjuku station.

The location is great! You can pretty much walk to Shinjuku for only 10 mins. Since it’s in Japan, everything is in this miniature size. But you have almost everything in this room lol. Recommend it.

Although it seems difficult to locate the at first, it is relatively easy to find. This place is very convenient as it is very close to the JR station which allows for easy traveling. The host was very thoughtful and provided guests with toothbrushes, nail trimmers, umbrellas, travel guide books, etc.! Overall, I would recommend booking at this Airbnb.

Hjs place is exactly what you see. The room is small but we had no issues moving around and we could fit in 3 suitcases with no issues (2 people in B room). The amenities were thoughtful and a considerable effort was made in restocking. We stayed in December for 5 nights and had no issue, the location is absolutely amazing and theres so much good Korean food available all around the place. It was also not cold at all, the room was always hot but not stuffy. A lot of people complained about the noise from outside and from other rooms but we couldn’t hear much at all? Maybe a little racket but it was pretty quiet after a certain time at night. Maybe that’s just because we were so exhausted after our long days that we just knocked out. My only complaint might’ve been a lack of common areas/microwave. The laundry is also not in the building but is a laundromat a short 2 minute walk away. Nothing dramatic but yea just heads up. Overall, would second stay again if I wanted to see more of Shinjuku/Shin Okubo.

We had a great time, staying there. We had everything we needed. We ould reach every location we wanted in no time and there were a bunch of stores and konbinis around, so we never had a lack of anything. Also it was a nice room and great communication!

The apartment is in a nice spot and was clean. Easy to find and get into the room.

Great space in quiet part of Shinjuku. Easy walk to Shinjuku or catch local bus for 100y. Great for the 3 of us.

The place can barely fit 3 people but the location kinda make up for it. The short walk though as defined by host may not exactly be short especially if you are lugging luggages around; Guests will need to take the new Keio line subway to Hatsudai (one-stop) from the Shinjuku station, which cost 130 yen per adult each way, then take the East exit and walk about 20 - 25 minutes depending on your pace.

Huge hotel/service apartment in Tokyo, 2 stations off the main Shinjuku station but the size of the apartment made the distance negligible. Apartment is exactly like the pictures shown. Has a balcony too. Comes with daily Housekeeping. There’s a washer and dryer in the laundry room downstairs.

The location is great! !! Next to it is the Otoki (forgotten the specific name) gate of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and the check-in area of the leafy court. There is a subway Marunouchi line that is almost direct and there are various convenience stores next to it. Close to Shinjuku, convenient for transfers! ~ The room is really big! There are no problems spreading out a few boxes!

This is a very clean and amazing place! My boyfriend and I came to Tokyo the first time and Elaine provided us with all the help. Check in was super easy and the host is responsive.

The location of the house is great, it is convenient to live in Shinjuku, and it is convenient to eat, eat and shop nearby. The house is fully equipped, clean and tidy. There are still people to clean up the garbage every day. I will definitely choose to live here next time I come to Tokyo.
