Nearby, there is the confluence between the river and the wild river, which is a site with exceptional panoramic views. Between Anjou, Touraine and Poitou, the Royal Château de Chinon, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, Saumur, Candes-St-Martin and Montsoreau are all treasures of the Loire Valley that you can enjoy as you stroll.

In the grounds of a turreted 15th century château - featured in a number of homes & interiors magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

You will stay in the 14th part of the former home of the Abbesses' Seneschal of Justice. This independent apartment, completely restored by an architect, combines the charm of a historic building with contemporary comfort. From your private terrace, you can watch the sunsets over the abbey. You are located 20 m from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and its museum, as well as all the shops and restaurants in the village. The banks of the Loire are a 5-minute drive away.
