Chez Bertie’s is located on the edge of a pretty hamlet in a rural and peaceful setting but is only a 20 minute drive to two larger towns with supermarkets and restaurants etc. The hamlet has an electric vehicle charge point within easy walking distance of a morning café/shop & evening shop/bar. You will be always be ensured a warm welcome at Chez Berties which provides the perfect base for a visit to the Charente, with the added bonus of being close to the borders of the Haute Vienne & Vienne.

Traditional spacious house in pretty village

Relax in this charming and spacious house with south facing sun terrace. This traditional stone built villa sits in the centre of the village opposite a 17th century church, with free parking and EV (Sorégies) charging point. The local bar/shop is a two minute walk. Villa Lierre is 5 mins from a large supermarket at L’Isle Jourdain. The Circuit du Val de Vienne is 15 minutes away by car. There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

Old Water Mill

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

This semi-detached house offers a peaceful and relaxing stay for the whole family. You will find plenty of space to park easily in the area around the house. On the ground floor, there is a fitted kitchen, a small living room and a terrace overlooking the garden. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, plus a bathroom and WC. Perfect for relaxing between walks and enjoying the barbecue. La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.

This gîte has been a family memory since 1966, the story of entrepreneurs in the transport sector, whose premises have been transformed to accommodate new activities. It was renovated in 2022, using the codes of the automobile in decoration, my father's passion in connection with his activities with the Circuit du Val de Vienne. It can accommodate a family, a group or a company team. Its strengths: accessible on one level, comfortable and easy to live in.

Renovated country house of about 110 square meters, located by the river in a peaceful environment. Beautiful view with free access to the meadow. Great place to unwind in the summer. Walks are possible nearby. Possibility to eat outside on the terrace, barbecue available. Our house is attached to the one we rent, however everyone's privacy is preserved.
