The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably for multiple nights. You can get here by public transport, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be any taxis, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Akashina Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. You can also go to Karuizawa, Mt. Nobe, and Kiyosato in about an hour by car, so you can climb Mt. Yatsugatake and trek to Myogi Arashina Saku Kogen Quasi-National Park. A rice-growing area comparable to Niigata, and thirteen breweries of local sake made with water from Chikuma that flows from Yatsugatake and Mt. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. I renovated this house to comfortable satying. If you will travel with your own car (incl rental car) , to stay this house is one of the good choice. This house is located between Karuizawa and Matsumoto Castle. ---About 60minutes to both places by car. Also close to Shinkansen Station "Sakudaira" and "Ueda" ---About 30minutes to both station by car. Very close to Supermarket, Convenience store, Onsen (japaese hot springs), and local restaruant.
