Smoking friendly holiday rentals in San Pedro La Laguna

I stayed in all 3 AirBnB rooms at Carlos' Seite Volcanes' suite over 4 months and loved each one! I even had family visit who opted to stay in the San Marcos' center instead at Lush Atitlan; However, after they visited my spot at Carlos', they wished they had taken my suggestion to stay here instead. The view is unmistakable; the Spanish colonial aesthetic is flawless; the lush tropical garden is mature; the privacy is serene. Seite Volcanes is close enough to town to stumble to the lake-front in less than 10 minutes but not so close that your sleep is subject to the howling of street dogs or bar-hopping tourists. In fact, it's nestled quietly away in a forested area off a safe side-road. I never once had a problem with access to great aminities either: constant high-speed internet access, round-the-clock strong hot water pressure, and an on-site washing machine. Top all that off with one of the best hosts on this site, and you might just extend your stay by an extra month like me!

Great stay in a great location. Highly recommend to anyone. Very pretty garden. Friendly pets on site and Juana was very kind.

Kenny was a great host, very responsive to messages and helpful with local suggestions. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony area is stunning and very close to the photos! Just one small thing to bear in mind - there is a flight of somewhat steep concrete stairs to enter the property which were a little tricky to navigate with big suitcases. Kenny was very helpful and carried one of our cases when we arrived, which was much appreciated!

A million dollar view, spacious terrace for hammocks and entertaining. The beautiful garden an added bonus. Perfect spot to unwind and relax. We recommend the second floor for spectacular view of the lake, perfect spot for a sundowner. Christa did an excellent job of making sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we need ……. Beautiful views! You will have one of the best sunrise spots around town! You can have a quick swim just couple of meters! beautiful natural surrounding! Be aware of insects it can be scary to find scorpions, but you are in the wild and it’s just difficult to keep them away, we had some scorpions situation but everything was sorted out. They are trying their best to help. David was super attentive and Andres help us! We had great time there!

A spectacular space, with my family we talk that it is even nicer than the photos. Nice details, Fabi made the stay easier. We're definitely going back. Cute finish to disconnect in this wonderful place.

The location is breathtaking—surrounded by majestic volcanoes and lush greenery, with views of the lake that are nothing short of magical. Whether you're watching the sunrise paint the sky in hues of gold and pink or soaking in the tranquility of the water, every moment feels like a retreat into nature's paradise. The house itself is beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. It offers spacious and well-lit rooms that feel cozy yet elegant, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the vibrant local culture. The outdoor spaces are particularly delightful, with terraces or gardens where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.

We would be more than happy to return. The garden is beautiful and very private. The host was very prompt with a question we had about wood for the sauna. In the evening, the lighting in the main room was low. Making it slightly difficult to read a book. The sheets on the bed were fantastic. Nice thick, crisp sheets.

Ciirilo and his family are the most friendly people. He offered pick up from the ferry and took us to where we needed to catch our shuttle the next day. His accommodation was clean and perfect for what we needed as a transition base to our next destination. It is a bit far from the main area, but realistically only a 20 minute walk, if you don’t mind walking. However, the lake was an easy 5-7 minute walk. The neighborhood was a typical Guatemalan neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We felt very safe. Thank you Cirilo for hosting my wife and I.

Cirilo is a great host and helpful person. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes but I overcame this by turning on the fan and pointing the fan in the direction of the window. A good clean place to stay!
