Absolutely beautiful stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Aníbal was incredible arranging anything we needed. Waking up showering in the outdoor shower with that view and having the typical breakfast in front of the peaceful lake every morning was incredible.

The house, the lake, the views, the staff…all absolutely incredible! The house is ideally located within 5-10 mins walking or quick tuk tuk to San Marcos, and equipped with everything you need - pool, hottub, kayaks, loads of cooking supplies, more than enough towels etc. The rooms were huge, beds comfy and the caretakers available to help with anything and everything. The hosts were super responsive and the chef for hire cooked amazing meals. San Marcos has the cleanest water for swimming, and the national park with cliffs to jump or swim from is just a short walk or kayak away. The entire stay, just like the lake, was magical for our family of 5 (2 adults, 9 yo, two 7 yos) and not one we will ever forget!

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. The hosts are literally the sweetest and most helpful and communicative hosts I’ve ever interacted with. Thank you Veli for your hospitality. The Airbnb is soo spacious, comfy, and luxe. I loved waking up and going to bed with such an amazing view. The instructions for the home were clearly laid out as well as helpful suggestions of how to get to each surrounding village and what to do there. The hosts are transparent about everything. One thing to note is there are no lights to walk up and down 60 steps to the house so arrive before sunset or be prepared to use flashlights. The area was very safe though in my opinion. I really enjoyed my experience with the host and appreciate the stay! I’d definitely stay here again!

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs I've stayed at. If you don't fancy walking up and down the big hills of San Marcos, then this place is for you. A 5 minute walk from the boat ramp, right in the middle of the village surrounded by all the restaurants, cafes and shops, this place was central to everything. Very quiet and surrounded by a lush green garden. A highlight for me was the lux cotton linen with a proper duvet (comforter) that kept me warm at night when the temperatures dropped. The bed was very comfy. The host provides drinking water, which I thought was a nice touch. The WIFI worked really well. It's fast and suitable for streaming or/and video calls. If there was one thing to note in a near perfect Airbnb would be the shower. It was hard for me to regulate the temperature and the water pressure was also very weak. Also just a side note that electricity can be shut off for a whole day and also water. That happened during my stay but these are outside the host's control.

We stayed here for 8 nights around Semana Santa. The place was perfectly located. 5 min walk to Pana Dock. It was set way back off the main road so fairly quiet. Fans were in bedrooms so that got rid of most noise. Quietest place I’ve ever stayed at in San Pedro. Lock made it super easy to get into . We liked the two bedrooms upstairs from main roam and doors opened up to a beautiful area to sit and see the lake. Angelica was the most responsive host I’ve ever had. We had some minor issues and they were fixed immediately. Kitchen was nicely stocked. The water was refilled before we even asked. Highly recommend. We will for sure stay here again .

We really loved staying here. The place feels more like a cabin; it's not too big but super cozy. And the view from the balcony to the beautiful garden and the lake was the best part. Gerson the host would go above and beyond to make our staying comfortable, he's also just a nice pal to chat with about the local life. Probably the only noticeable flaw of our experience was the construction happening at a neighboring plot, which can be loud sometimes. But this will be completed some day, so if you bother about that, worth asking the current state in advance. Overall it's a really unique and great price/quality offer, and we would definitely love to come back some day.

We really enjoyed staying with Carlos. The room, a studio with an included kitchen, was beautiful, located on the upper floor of the house. It offers a stunning view of Lake Atitlán and the volcanoes. Everything was lovely, and the garden was colorful and diverse. We especially enjoyed sitting on the veranda every morning with our coffee, looking out at the garden. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and we felt completely at home. Everything was very clean, and Carlos was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We would gladly recommend the apartment and would be happy to return at some point in the future.

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

Beautiful views! You will have one of the best sunrise spots around town! You can have a quick swim just couple of meters! beautiful natural surrounding! Be aware of insects it can be scary to find scorpions, but you are in the wild and it’s just difficult to keep them away, we had some scorpions situation but everything was sorted out. They are trying their best to help. David was super attentive and Andres help us! We had great time there!

¡Nos gustó mucho el alojamiento de Mary! el alojamiento y el precio están demasiado bien, además de que Mary siempre fue muy cordial, se presentó a darnos la bienvenida y explicarnos cosas importantes (cosas de la casa, recomendaciones). En lo personal me pareció lindo ese contacto. Limpieza 10/10, amenidades 10/10, espacio 10/10. Todo excelente. Un alojamiento que seguro lo vale y esperamos regresar pronto.
