In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. We are located in the middle of the valley of Pedralva, peaceful and quiet, far away from mainstream tourism and yet the famous surfing beaches of Amado and Bordeira are 5 minutes away by car. Surrounded by nature, hammocks in our cork oak forest invite you to relax and our own lake invites you to swim. Two restaurants and a bar are a 5-minute walk away. Nearby small fishing villages such as Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo, Aljezur or Lagos are worth a visit.

Cerro do Poio Ruivo is located in the lower Alentejo, on the edge of the Santa Clara Dam, with nature in all its splendor and harmony. There are about 10 hectares, surrounded by water in about 2/3 of its extension being an ideal place for nautical and terrestrial sports. A stay at Cerro do Poio Ruivo allows you tranquility and contact with nature, with activities at your disposal. Breakfast €9.80, per person, Pets for a fee of €30 per pet and reservation.

Casa Mira is a lovingly furnished, family-friendly holiday home in a quiet location in the west of the beautiful Algarve. The kitchen was newly fitted out in early 2026. The mattresses and mattress toppers are also new. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a fridge-freezer, hob, oven and dishwasher, as well as a Bialetti electric espresso maker, a standard coffee machine and a toaster. Below the house is an idyllic water lily pond.
