This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

Shops, cafés, restaurants and public transport are within walking distance. The proximity to Gloggnitz station and the southern motorway (A2) ensures the best possible connections. The Rax cable car and Semmering ski resort can be reached in about 15 minutes by car – perfect for nature, relaxation and active holidays.

The house, which is about 150 years old, is within walking distance of the Hohe Wand, ideal for climbing, hiking... In a short time you can reach the Schneeberg either by train or car. The house can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 4 children. There is a beautiful garden, Swedish stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table, 2 toilets, a TV. The municipality of Grünbach charges a tourist tax of €2.80 per person/night to be paid on site.
